EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays is in full swing, but there’s one BIG thing we’re missing this year: The Candlelight Processional!

When we heard that the processional wouldn’t be happening, we were obviously bummed, but we definitely understand how it would be difficult to recreate with the current safety guidelines. Thankfully, Disney gave us a recorded version to watch at home! But now, we’ve got even more good news for fans of this show, because you can listen to the soundtrack online!

A handful of new things have popped up at Disney’s Polynesian Resort over the last week!
Duffy and Friends Headband
We’ve spotted a plush Duffy headband, eaten Dole Whip out of a pineapple (YUM!), and tried a sparkly Christmas cupcake! Today we saw a whole new collection of merch that will add some Polynesian flair to your wardrobe and let you show off your love for this relaxing resort!

When Walt first created Mickey for the “Steamboat Willie” short, he probably didn’t know how beloved Mickey would be almost 100 years later. Now, the day after Walt’s birthday, we’ve spotted a pretty neat piece of merch commemorating Walt and Mickey!

Several races this year and next year have been converted to virtual events, but Disney’s been keeping the fun going at home with some fun themed crafts and merchandise. And if you’re planning on registering for next year’s races, then you should totally check out this new line of runDisney gear!
Disney World is seeing some pretty busy days as we come up on the holidays.
Magic Kingdom Crowds
Today Magic Kingdom has no Disney Park Pass availability remaining and we’re reporting from the pretty crowded park. Take a look around with us as we check out some of the pinch points and long lines!
Just a few days ago, we were munching on holiday cupcakes and more all around Disneyland Resort and the newly reopened Buena Vista Street.

But, things have quickly changed in California. Last week, Governor Newsom announced that stay-at-home orders would be imposed for regions based on ICU availability. This weekend, Southern California (the region that Disneyland Resort is located in) reached the set ICU capacity level, triggering the stay-at-home order for that region. Under this new order, restaurants can only be open for takeout or delivery. Disneyland confirmed that some of the restaurants at the resort would remain open for takeout under this order, while others would entirely close. Here’s a full list of what restaurants are and are not open at Disneyland Resort based on our trip today.
When thinking about dining for your next Walt Disney World trip, definitely don’t sleep on the resort restaurant options!
California Grill Lounge
Some of the best food on property is available at the Disney resort hotels, so if you have the time and it’s practical, we encourage you to make some dining reservations outside of the parks. Exclusive to the resorts, you have some fun options, like the character meal at Topolino’s Terrace, an amazing view from California Grill at the Contemporary, and the wacky antics of the servers at Whispering Canyon Cafe. Today, we stopped by one of our favorite Disney resort restaurants, and we happened to stumble upon a secret menu item!
