Hello from Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We’ve spent a day at the park to see what’s new, so are you ready? Let’s go!
If you’ve been following along with us at DFB for the past few weeks, then you’ve probably seen TONS of holiday posts and articles from Walt Disney World.
However, we’ve also been spending time celebrating on the West Coast at Disneyland Resort! Even though the parks aren’t open, we’ve been checking out all the holiday offerings in Downtown Disney and the newly reopened Buena Vista Street. We’ve tried holiday snacks, shopped for holiday merchandise, and even gotten to experience Christmas decorations! And when strolling through Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure today, we spotted an adorable Christmas cupcake that we couldn’t resist!
We’re just going to come right out and say it…we LOVE bread.
Whether it be bread service at Sanaa, bread pudding at the Polynesian Resort, or our beloved School Bread in the Norway pavilion, we’re pretty much always down to eat some bread. In fact, we love bread so much that this year, we made a gift guide dedicated to the bread lover in your life! Today we got the chance to try a different kind of bread — a German Christmas bread — and we’re excited to share our thoughts!
One of our FAVORITE Hollywood Studios restaurants reopened today!
Woody’s Lunch Box is BACK BBY! Despite a few changes to the menu, we’re still overjoyed to be toy-sized and snacking once again. So, come along with us as we bring you a REVIEW of a reopened Woody’s Lunch Box!
There are lots of projects going on all around Disney World, but especially over at EPCOT as part of that park’s transformation.
One of those special projects is the expansion of the France pavilion with the new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction, La Crêperie de Paris restaurant, and the surrounding area. With the Ratatouille attraction and crêpe shop both set to open in 2021, we’re keeping a close eye on this whole area. Today, as we flew past in the Disney Skyliner, we noticed that a brand new kiosk has been added!
Disney Cruise Line recently canceled all departures through January 2021, and the CDC has created a new, higher risk level for cruise travel, but the cruise line industry as a whole is preparing for an eventual return to sailing once it’s safe to do so.
Although cruise lines must meet a variety of new requirements to take passengers on adventures out at sea, that isn’t stopping them from planning for the future and offering guests the chance to get some good deals on future cruise adventures this Black Friday and Cyber Monday!
We’re strolling through Downtown Disney today and we stumbled across some Christmastime FAVORITES!
Did someone say jingle bells? We already spotted the GREEN Jingle Bell Sipper in Disney World and we’ve already fallen in love with the (pretty much matching) Mickey Jingle Bell Glow Cube. Now, Disneylanders get the chance to too as these FAVORITE souvenirs arrive in Downtown Disney!
Cinderella has the most adorable little friends and helpers, doesn’t she?
We’re especially fond of Gus Gus, and we’ve been so happy to see him on more merch recently, including a holiday pin and even on a spatula!
EPCOT is getting a major transformation with a reimagined look, attractions, and more enhancements!
As part of the transformation, Imaginers have created a new color scheme that will be highlighted on shops, structures, and paint jobs around the theme park. We’ve already seen the new design and colors appear on the newly painted ticket booths and construction walls. The new theme has started to move more buildings around the park!
This holiday season is sure to be a strange one as the country continues to grapple with the global health crisis. The holidays tend to be a time for travel so that family and friends can come together.
We’ve already seen this with crowds in Disney World this week (until today that is), and Disney Park Pass reservations have begun to fill up for the weeks surrounding Christmas. As COVID-19 cases continue to be a concern, airlines are preparing for a busy holiday season while wrestling with health and safety concerns.
