Disneyland celebrated Mickey’s 92nd birthday in a special way!
Yesterday, Disney announced that TWO Disneyland statues have been refurbished and are looking better than ever — and now we’ve seen one of them in person!
After more than eight months, we’re once again strolling down Buena Vista Street as part of the latest expansion to Downtown Disney! While Disney California Adventure technically remains closed at this time, the shopping and dining district at Disneyland Resort now includes several shops and restaurants from inside the park boundaries!
One of the biggest surprises ahead of the reopening was that Award Wieners, which typically serves their own assortment of hot dogs and our beloved Filmstrip Fries, would be serving the menu from Corn Dog Castle, which remains closed at this time.
It’s HOLIDAY TIME… and we’re also on ISLAND TIME at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort!
We gave you a glimpse at the fun and festive decorations at this colorful Resort a few days ago, and now we’re back with a closer look at the bright and vibrant touches setting the yuletide scene. And we’re kicking off our photo tour at Old Port Royale! [Read more…]
MagicBands can be incredibly useful. You can link your ticket to them and simply use it to scan into the theme parks. You can also use them to pay for items in the parks or even get into your hotel room. But, did you know you can make your MagicBand control your iPhone?
It’s true! We’re sharing a step-by-step guide with you today so you can add a little magic to your iPhone experience. You’re wearing your MagicBand at home to feel like you’re in Disney World anyway, why not make it functional too?
Limited edition merchandise is typically in very high demand in Disney parks.
The demand is SO high, in fact, that at first after reopening, Disney World halted in-person limited-edition releases to help promote social distancing. Limited edition releases have since returned somewhat, but due to Disney’s generous 10 of each item per person policy, many guests aren’t able to get ahold of these releases. Seems like FINALLY, that may have changed a bit!
There are currently several Walt Disney World attractions under refurbishment!
The Walt Disney World Railroad has been down for a good while now due to construction with the TRON coaster, we recently saw the Rivers of America get drained for a refurbishment on the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island, and don’t even get us started on the PeopleMover! The slow-moving ride through Tomorrowland never reopened with Magic Kingdom, and we keep seeing the refurbishment end date getting pushed back. Now, we may soon be adding another ride to the list — Kali River Rapids in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Our tour of the Disney World Resort hotel holiday decorations continues! Our next destination? Why, it’s Disney’s Riviera Resort!
This Disney Vacation Club Resort, which is decked out and sparkling with silver and gold, is just waiting to say, “Welcome Home” for the HOLIDAYS in Walt Disney World! [Read more…]
We’ve been keeping a close eye on all of the construction going on at the France pavilion in the area that will soon become Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which is set to open in 2021!
It looks like the France pavilion is getting excited too. As we walked around today, we noticed that some adorable Ratatouille merchandise we saw last year is available again, including a super cute Chef Jacket!
Hello from Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
So what’s new since the last time we were here? Let’s check out the updates!
The Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collections have been incredibly popular this year!
Featuring fan-favorite Disney attractions like Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan’s Flight, and “it’s a small world,” some of these collections have sold out incredibly quickly! This month’s collection features the beloved and hilarious Disney classic, the Jungle Cruise. While the option became available a few days ago to sign up for MerchPass on shopDisney, we’ve now spotted the collection in Walt Disney World!
