It’s hard to top Mother’s Day at Disney World!

But, more often than not, that means a bit of renovation is needed in order to make it happen. Keeping up with the latest construction permits Disney files can be a great way to find out just what is going on around the parks and hotels, and we just found a pretty exciting one!
Summer is nearly here and although summers at Disney World are a blast, there are still some downsides you need to be warned about.

Between large crowds and hurricane season, Disney World can be tricky to navigate during the summer months. However, one of the most glaring issues is the heat — and Disney World guests will be feeling it in spades this week!
By this time next year, Universal Orlando’s new park, Epic Universe, could be open!

We’re still waiting for an official opening date to be announced, but until that comes, we’re keeping a close eye on all the latest construction updates. One of the most anticipated new lands is the new Ministry of Magic section, which is partially set in Paris (from the Fantastic Beasts films), and well, we think it’s looking really familiar!
It’s no secret we’re BIG fans of the food in all the parks at Disney World.
Hollywood Studios
But Disney’s Hollywood Studios has some delicious snacks that we particularly care to enjoy. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has delicious ronto wraps, Toy Story Land has fun “totchos” and pop tarts, plus so much more. But there is one snack cart that we’ve been worried about for a while now, and clearly, we had good reason to be!

We have been keeping a close eye on the construction progress in Magic Kingdom, and we are excited that we finally know when we will be able to travel through the New Orleans Bayou with Tiana and friends. The attraction will officially open on June 28th, 2024, and we have the perfect thing for opening day!
EPCOT has been going through a massive transformation, and it’s all finally opening on June 10th with the opening of CommuniCore Hall & Plaza!
Journey of Water
We’ve already welcomed the new Creations Shop, Connections Cafe & Eatery, the new World Celebration Gardens, and Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, EPCOT’s newest attraction. But, it seems as though something may already be amiss at this new walkthrough experience and we’re telling you everything we know.
