Memento Mori
You didn’t think Halloween was over, did you? A few Christmas ornaments make their way to Disney World and all of a sudden Halloween is kaput?? Guess again! TWO new Haunted Mansion pins have materialized at Memento Mori in Disney’s Magic Kingdom. These aren’t your regular, run-of-the-mill Mansion pins. These are limited release pins and more importantly, they glow-in-the-dark!
Although many Disney theme parks and resorts around the world have reopened, other aspects of the Walt Disney Company are not back up and running yet.
Cinderella Castle
With Disneyland Resort still closed, reduced capacity at Disney’s theme parks, and the suspension of all Disney cruise departures until mid-December, Disney has announced that it will be laying off 28,000 employees.
Even though the Disneyland Resort parks remain closed, you can actually head into Disney California Adventure today — at least, kind of.

Just yesterday, Disney announced that they would be opening the Disneyland Backlot Premiere Shop INSIDE of Disney California Adventure and now you can head to the new location. You won’t be strolling through the park to get there, but you might be picking up some new merch!
Last week, Disney announced layoffs that are set to affect thousands of its employees in the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products division of the Walt Disney Company.

We’ve enjoyed “coming home” to the spot since it reopened this summer. Homecomin’ has been serving a limited menu during its initial reopening phase (though it’s still been filled with goodies like Cheddar Drop Biscuits, Art’s Famous Fried Chicken, and Hummingbird Cake). Disney’s newest fireworks show Harmonious, has been in talks for some time.

This show has been on our minds for a WHILE and with the park closures, we’re not too sure when we’ll finally get to see it hit the waters of World Showcase Lagoon. So, it’s pretty exciting whenever we see a potential sign of work on the area of Harmonious — and we saw a sign today!

Although the California government’s theme park reopening guidelines were set to be issued last week, they were later postponed following pushback from several sources.

We were taking a spin on “it’s a small world” — as one does whenever they need hundreds of children singing to them as a pick-me-up — when we spotted a surprising sight! And no, it’s not the new construction changing things up; “it’s a small world” seems to have a new visitor!
