If you’re headed to one of the Disney World theme parks in October, you’ll have a little bit more time to enjoy the magic at some of the parks during the weekends.
Not too long ago, Disney extended theme park hours on the weekends through October 12th, and now we’re seeing those extended hours applied to more weekends in October.
The Disneyland Resort and the state of California have been at a bit of an impasse over the past few weeks as Disneyland and Disney California Adventure are the only Disney theme parks in the world that remain closed due to the global health crisis.
The reopening plan for the resort relies on the release of guidelines from the California Government and Disney has been pushing for this guidance. Now, it looks like it may be a little longer before the guidelines are released.
Since Disney World reopened, we’ve seen park operating hours shortened on certain days and later extended on select days.
If you’re planning to visit Walt Disney World for later in December, we’ve now got an update on what hours the parks will be open during your stay.

There are so many festival booths to enjoy delicious treats from all around EPCOT at the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
While some of the booths have been open since the beginning of the festival, others opened later on, and we’ve been eagerly waiting for a few more to become available. Today, our waiting ended for 2 of the booths we’ve been keeping an eye on!
A prime spot at Disney’s Beach Club has been closed lately.
Beach Club Marketplace has been getting some nondescript renovations for the past few weeks. In the meantime, we’ve been getting our souvenirs and snacks fix elsewhere in the resort, including with temporary offerings in the Solarium. Now, Beach Club Marketplace is BACK and we’re taking a look at the changes.
Halloween treats, spooky character cavalcades, boo-tiful merchandise, and tons of fun movies to get us in the spirit — is there anything better than Halloween time with a Disney twist!?
Thankfully, the Halloween fun has only just begun and more spooky snacks are available all over Disney World.
Being a member of D23 with different sorts of perks, including access to exclusive events and merch, as well as early access to Disney’s The Year of The Mouse limited edition Mickey Mouse plushes!
The Year of The Mouse promotion introduces a new Mickey plush every month, and October’s plush has us singing, “Who’s the leader of the club that’s made for you and me?”
The week of New Year’s Eve is generally a crowded week at Disney World. Despite the parks’ current capacity limits and limited entertainment options due to the global health crisis, that still could be the case this year.
And now that we’re looking at park pass availability for the week of New Year’s Eve in 2020, and it looks like at least one park, Hollywood Studios, is going to fill up quickly.
