We’ve found loads of new stuff, so let’s get started, shall we?
What’s this? It’s Halloween season! And that means it’s the season of spooky Halloween decorations, amazing food and drinks, and multiple viewings of The Nightmare Before Christmas!
And we’ve just discovered some figures that have us singing “This is Halloween!”
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at EPCOT!
And, we’ve got plenty of construction, food, and merchandise updates, so let’s dive right on in!

With crowds increasing over the past few weeks in Disney World, we’ve been hearing from readers how much they hope FastPass+ returns in the coming months. And today we got a little surprise!
A page popped up on DisneyWorld.com discussing guests using FastPass+ for their trips in January and February. And you may have seen or heard some reports that it meant FastPass+ was returning in just a few months.
But we want to clear up any confusion. This page may have been put up in error. Or it possibly may not yet have been updated with 2021 information. But there are several things that show this content is from 2019.
We recently made the rounds to several Disney World Resort hotels to see what’s new!
Who’s ready for an adventure?? We took a trip out to several of the EPCOT and Animal Kingdom area hotels to check out the latest additions. Here’s what’s new at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, and Disney’s Riviera Resort!
We all have our own favorite forms of Disney Transportation that are a must-do during our trip to Disney World. But, Disney also has such a beautiful atmosphere filled with trees, lagoons, and flowers that we LOVE taking the time to walk around the property.
And we’re getting closer and closer to being able to combine a fun ramble around the property with transporting ourselves to Magic Kingdom via the Grand Floridian Walkway! The new pathway will allow guests to walk straight from the Grand Floridian to the Magic Kingdom’s entrance on a special direct path.
We hope you’ve got your trekking shoes on because we’re taking you with us on a trip all the way to Africa in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
A few days ago, we noticed some signs that several bars around Disney World might be preparing to reopen. And just like that, Dawa Bar has now reopened in Animal Kingdom! Come take a (virtual) tour of one of our favorite places to relax, soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy a delicious drink!
The Disney World Halloween treats just keep coming! Between the deliciously spooky cocktails, nachos, and cupcakes, Halloween season is really rocking and rolling in Disney World!
Speaking of cupcakes, a couple of new Halloween treats caught our eye at Capt. Cook’s in Disney’s Polynesian Village resort. (And we mean that literally, because there’s one treat that actually makes eye contact with you!) [Read more…]
We’re making our way around Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, and having a fun adventure (even if it’s raining)!
While we made our way to Expedition Everest to say hello to our old pal Disco Yeti, we found a bit of a pleasant surprise in the park. Although Thirsty River Bar and Trek Snacks has been half closed since the parks reopened (Trek Snacks has been open, but Thirsy River Bar has been closed), it had a random re-opening today for guests!
One of the best perks of being a Disney Visa Cardholder is being able to take advantage of special character meet and greets with photos at Disney Parks. However, when Disney World reopened, character meet and greets were no longer part of the Disney World experience due to new health and safety guidelines.
Because of these changes, many might assume that the Disney Visa Cardholder Photo Spots are no longer open, but we would like to remind you that this isn’t the case at all!
