It’s no secret that we have a special place in our heart for the School Bread from Kringla Bakeri og Kafe at EPCOT’s World Showcase.

However, when Disney World reopened, Kringla Bakeri og Kafe didn’t (😢). And there was no School Bread to be seen anywhere! NOOOOOOO!!!!
Disney World recently shared park hours through early December — but that’s not the only park hours news that’s happened today!

In addition to extending the hours at EPCOT on several days in October, Disney World has also updated the park hours for Disney’s Animal Kingdom on an upcoming date in September!
If you’re heading to EPCOT next month, you might have a little extra time to enjoy the Food & Wine Festival booths on your visit!
EPCOT
Since September 8th, the daily operating hours at EPCOT have been 11AM-7PM. But on select days in October, guests will have an extra hour to spend in the park!
Earlier today, we learned about a MAJOR update coming to select Disney World table service restaurants. A brand-new Mobile Order feature launched on My Disney Experience called Table Service To Go, which as the name implies offering diners the opportunity to order table service food TO GO.

When we investigated further, it appeared that Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is currently the only location offering this service. We ventured over to Animal Kingdom Lodge to test this new Mobile Order experience out for ourselves (spoiler alert: we 100% order the Bread Service).
Pixar’s Up is one of our favorite Adventure stories, it is also deeply touching, and visually beautiful, which lends to some AMAZING merch. Last year at New York Comic Con, Funko released a POP! vinyl pair featuring Carl & Ellie as children that became an instant classic and sold out almost immediately.

This year’s New York Comic Con will look a little bit different. Fans and vendors will still be participating, just in a more socially-distant way! One thing that will be the same — a NEW Carl & Ellie POP! will be available.
Disney World has now released information about the park hours through early December!
Magic Kingdom
Earlier this month, Disney World updated the park hours calendar to show that the hours at Magic Kingdom will be extended to 9AM-7PM beginning on November 6th and hours at EPCOT will shift to 12PM-8PM beginning November 27th. However, since the hours were only listed through November 28th, we weren’t sure what the park hours would look like moving into December.
Even though it’s only September, we’ve been celebrating Halloween with ALL kinds of merchandise and treats!

Recently, Disney launched a campaign called #DisneyHalloMoments to help fans celebrate spooky season with themed weekend activities and so much more. Since Disney World’s reopening, we’ve started to see more of our favorite food and drink locations (like the Flavors from Fire booth at the Taste of EPCOT Food and Wine Festival) opening back up at Disney World.Â

And now we can add one more location to the list — the Uzima Springs Pool Bar at Jambo House at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
The last few months have brought a WIDE variety of travel bans and restrictions for those entering and exiting the United States.

Since March 18th, the US land borders (at Canada and Mexico) have been under a non-essential travel restriction. The restrictions have been extended month-by-month, and now the closure has been extended into October.
Last month the Center for Disease Control and Prevention made a controversial change to its testing guidelines for the global health crisis.

Initially, testing was recommended for anyone who had come in contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19. The change removed this recommendation and noted that those without symptoms didn’t need to get tested, which sparked some controversy — including remarks from Disney Chairman Bob Iger.
