While we wait for the Disneyland Resort to announce reopening plans for their theme parks and hotels, fans have been able to get their shopping and dining fix at Downtown Disney. As the only facet of Disneyland currently open, folks have certainly been enjoying a little dose of the Disney magic!

Starting soon, guests will have more ways to shop popular seasonal merchandise items, and you won’t believe WHERE in the Disneyland Resort the shop is located!
Tokyo Disneyland just opened its largest park expansion which includes a brand new Beauty and the Beast attraction with incredible effects (you NEED to watch this video), a super cute Baymax attraction, and more!

But, if you don’t live in Japan, you likely can’t exactly get to Tokyo Disney Resort at the moment.
One major Disney project that we’ve got our eye on is the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel.

We keep our eye out for Disney permits to make sure that we don’t miss any exciting developments on projects like Galactic Starcruiser. We know that work continues to be underway thanks to recent patents and overhead photos, but now it looks like some set elements and theming are being incorporated at the site!
Adventure is out there! Those words are often true when new Disney merchandise drops, because it can definitely feel like quite the ADVENTURE to score the latest and greatest collectables. And when it comes to Disney Dooney & Bourke bags, we’ve seen items practically FLY off of the shelves!

In just the last couple of weeks, we have shopped “with ghoulish delight” for the new Haunted Mansion Dooney & Bourke collection, as well as the insanely popular Disney Dogs collection! Not to mention the new, limited edition Dooney & Bourke MagicBand that found its way to the 2020 Taste of EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. You would think that we would be all Dooney & Bourke’d out, but there’s ALWAYS room for at least one more Disney Dooney in our opinion!

Although we’ve been able to wave at Anna and Elsa during the Character Cavalcades going on in EPCOT, we haven’t been able to sing along to our favorite Frozen tunes at For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a LONG time!

This show did not reopen with the park back in July, but we recently shared that the Frozen show would be reopening today, October 5th, so you know we had to make our way to Hollywood Studios and see what’s changed.
