We’ve already shared details about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returning to Magic Kingdom and Oogie Boogie Bash returning to Disney California Adventure, as well as the Halloween offerings with Disney Cruise Line. But now, there’s another way to celebrate the spooky season!
Disney World just shared a BUNCH of news about the 2024 Halloween season!

Yep, that’s right, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Magic Kingdom this year with all the old favorites, from entertainment to trick-or-treating to character meets. Part of that list includes Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks, and if you want a great view for the show, we’ve got an important update!

Since it launched in 1995, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has become one of the Magic Kingdom’s most beloved events. From treats and shows to parades and ride overlays, there’s tons to do during the after-hours event. So much to do in fact that it becomes easy to work up an appetite, which is why it’s key to know which Magic Kingdom restaurants will be open during the event.Â

UPDATE 5-6-24 11:30AM ET:
Disney has now removed Tiana’s Bayou Adventure from the “open rides” list on the My Disney Experience app. This does not necessarily mean that the ride will not be open during the event; it just means that Disney is not yet ready to commit to it being open at this time.
In fact, we’re still pretty sure that it will be open. Here’s why: 1) Disney originally had it listed. Usually if that happens, it was going to be there eventually and someone just jumped the gun. 2) MNSSHP runs through October 31st. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is supposed to open “this summer,” so it will definitely be open before MNSSHP finishes its run in 2024. 3) Splash Mountain was always open during MNSSHP, so reason would dictate that Tiana’s would follow suit. 4) The Tiana’s Bayou Adventure media event is scheduled for mid-June. We’ve never — in our 15 years of doing this — seen a ride not open until two months after the media event. Usually it opens within a week after the media event. So, again, reason would dictate that the ride will, indeed, be open in time for the first MNSSHP date.Â
We will continue to keep an eye on Disney’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party ride lists and will let you know immediately when/if Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is added to the confirmed schedule.Â

We just got some BIG announcements about the 2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World!
It’s really not so scary!
Disney announced when the party will take place, how much tickets will cost, what kinds of NEW offerings will be at this year’s event, and more. We also learned all the showtimes for the popular Boo-To-You parade, Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show, and Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular show, and this year some of those times have CHANGED compared to years past.
You know when you go to Disney World and see everyone wearing the same thing?! It’s kinda creepy but also kind of cool?

For example, you know at Disney’s Animal Kingdom you’re going to see nearly every Disney dad in that Hakuna Matata t-shirt. Or if a colorful new Loungefly just debuted, you’ll keep seeing people with it on around the parks all day. That’s what we think is going to happen with these brand new Minnie ears!
