It may be a world of pumpkins and spice in Disney World right now (or still near 100 degrees!) but it’s time to start thinking about the Christmas season.

Disney just dropped a BOMBSHELL on everyone with details of what is — and more importantly ISN’T — going to be included in this year’s festivities at Disney World. We’ve now learned a long-time fan-favorite tradition won’t be making the cut this year.
In mid-June Disney World announced that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party would be canceled this year.

But, uncertainty still remained over Christmastime offerings like Magic Kingdom’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, and Candlelight Processional.
We’ve had Halloween on our minds today, but now we suddenly have reason to think Christmas!

We were busy eating our way through all of the Halloween snacks in Disney World when Disney decided to drop a MAJOR Christmas news bomb! There’s good news and bad news. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is not returning this year but EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays is ON.
Shortly before Disney World’s phased reopenings began on July 11th, Disney announced that they would be cancelling Mickey’s-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year.

As for their winter seasonal offerings, Disney World hadn’t quite reached a decision — until today. Disney has just officially announced Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will not take place in 2020.
Well, we’re trying up a STORM when it comes to Halloween treats today!

We’ve already had a Scar Cupcake and seen the return of TWO of our favorite Halloween Popcorn Buckets. Next up, we’re screaming into Disney’s Hollywood Studios to try a treat that might look more on the gruesome side…but wait until you see how it TASTES!
We’re on the search for seasonal snacks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! And it’s not too hard to find them…

After all, fall and Halloween treats have arrived at both Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios as of TODAY, and we’re still finding even more goodies at Magic Kingdom! For instance, arriving at least 45 minutes prior to park opening was highly recommended if you wanted to enjoy popular attractions without waiting too long. Now, given the shorter lines, we recommend coming in later because you can avoid the morning crowds and still enjoy many of the rides. On our recent trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we noticed another interesting post-reopening phenomenon.
So, if you’ve been following along over the past few days, you know that fall and Halloween snacks have already arrived in FULL FORCE in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
