Looks like Disney has finally found the right warrior to restore the heart of Te Fiti in their live-action Moana remake.

It’s a great time to be a fan of Moana as Disney has released the trailer for the film’s sequel AND announced plans to make a live-action version of the film. We have been glued to our seats waiting for any announcements pertaining to the live-action remake and we FINALLY have confirmation on who will play the heroic title character!
It’s safe to say that Disney’s new Inside Out 2 movie was a BIG hit. Like, a really, really big hit.

Inside Out 2 premiered on June 14th, and we were among the THOUSANDS of Disney fans who filled up our popcorn buckets and kicked up our feet as we enjoyed the new movie. (Shoutout to Disney for making sure our kids all have the emotional vocabulary none of us had when we were their age. LOL.)
Now that we’ve seen this film in theaters, we’re ready for round two — couch edition! Yes, we’re already thinking about when we’ll get to watch it again on Disney+ in the comfort of our homes and fuzzy slippers. Let’s talk about it!

Yep, I’m talking about the tiny train town in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT! This itty bitty city is filled with crime and various shenanigans that we’ve reported on in the past. These guys just can’t seem to get it together!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Annual Passholder previews have officially BEGUN! And while a bunch of folks have been able to preview this attraction in the past few weeks, it HAS been struggling, plagued with evacuations and ride shut-downs. And this morning seems to already have another delay.

It’s no secret that Disney has been in a years-long political conflict with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis that started as a disagreement, eventually evolving into a legal battle between the two over Disney’s “special district” political privileges.

DeSantis took control of the former Reedy Creek Improvement District in early 2023, turning it into the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD). Lately, though, the two parties have started to get along, with news of a settlement gave hope that the situation was turning a corner. Now, we have an update.
EPCOT has had a busy week with the grand opening of CommuniCore Hall and Plaza, and the debut of a new show, ¡Celebración Encanto! While there have been mixed feelings about the new festival space, this opening does mark the completion of the years-long EPCOT transformation.
