The beloved Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the Magic Kingdom is celebrating 40 years of twists, turns, and screaming mountain goats. Disney kicked off the celebration with a Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection inspired by the ride. The wild adventures don’t stop there! We just got a look at the new Big Thunder Mountain MagicBand, shirt, phone case, and pin!

We’ve been seeing a lot about Big Thunder Mountain Railroad lately. There’s the new Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection and the potential refurbishment. But it’s crazy to think that one of our favorite rides in Disney World has been around for four decades! In honor of today’s occasion, we have the perfect way to celebrate.

So what’s new at Disney’s Hollywood Studios since the last time we checked in? Not a lot, but here’s what we found.
Although Tokyo Disneyland’s “The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast” attraction was initially set to open in April, the global health crisis shut down the theme parks and delayed construction on the ride.

However, now that Tokyo Disneyland has reopened, the attraction is set to open its doors on September 28th.

But, Halloween treats are making their way over to the Disney Resort hotels as well. Today, we found some seasonal drink offerings over at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, and you know we HAD to taste one of them!
Even though we still don’t know the exact date Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure will reopen, we’re starting to see more signs that the parks are getting ready to welcome guests as soon as they are able to!

Just last week, we spotted some new park reservation signs and a potential walkway at Disneyland Resort, and we’ve seen some health and safety signs outside of the parks as well. Today, we spotted even more additions that show we’re one step closer to Disneyland reopening.
