There are a few signature dishes at Captain Cooks in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort that are worth a trip on the monorail to enjoy. In the morning, it’s all about the Tonga Toast, but in the afternoon, the pulled pork nachos are what we’re after!

On our visit to the Polynesian today, we swung by Captain Cooks and FREAKED when we noticed that we could order the pulled pork nachos once again!
An intergalactic trip to Batuu, otherwise known as Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, can be filled with twists and turns. Whether we’re navigating the updated (and then updated once more!) Boarding Group distribution system for Rise of the Resistance or we’re experiencing an eerily empty Oga’s Cantina, Galaxy’s Edge sure knows how to keep us on our toes!

One of the ways Disney provides the fully immersive experience in Galaxy’s Edge is through their merchandise. So you could imagine our surprise when we noticed merchandise in a new spot!
Though the Disney water parks remain closed, that hasn’t stopped Disney from working behind the scenes to enhance the experience at a water park!
Typhoon Lagoon
Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon both have some awesome tube slides, and the lines can get pretty long. Well, Disney’s new water slide BRAKE technology could mean shorter lines in the long run!

Hollywood Studios has gotten creative with the way they are handling character entertainment since reopening! Strolling down Grand Avenue in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is never quite complete without stopping at BaseLine Tap House.

You’ll find a selection of small plates (we’re fond of the big ol’ Bavarian Pretzel with Beer-Cheese Fondue), and of course you’ll find cocktails, wine, and craft beer on tap. Forky Hairbrush
Well, that’s pretty easy — it’s Toy Story’s Forky! We love spotting new Forky merchandise, from the awesome Forky Loungefly Backpack we saw online, to the WILD Forky Hairbrush we found in Disney World. Well, that Forky Loungefly, unfortunately, sold out online, but fortunately we spotted it for sale in Hollywood Studios today!
One of our favorite new additions to the Disney World dining experience in the past few years has been Mobile Order. And during the phased reopening of the theme parks, this contactless way of ordering your food is becoming an essential part of a Disney World vacation. Disney is really pushing guests to order at quick-service dining locations through Mobile Order whenever possible.

Many locations like Pecos Bill was requiring guests to stand outside until their order Mobile Order was ready. Recently Pecos Bill debuted a new indoor waiting area for those that used Mobile Order.
The past few days have brought some ups and downs to Magic Kingdom’s Splash Mountain… and we’re not talking about that big drop at the end.

Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel
We have a long and tumultuous history with the Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel from Disney World. It appeared years ago at The Lunching Pad in Magic Kingdom then took a hiatus sometime later. We thought it was potentially gone forever. There was a big pretzel-shaped hole in our hearts. Then, it came crawling back to us at Magic Kingdom, only to break our hearts once more.
