As if we need another reason to love shopDisney, they’ve just unveiled a colorful and completely charming new accessory.
Here at DFB, we love adding to our Pandora collections. Between these furry friends and the new super-whimsical Up charm, there’s been a bunch of fun additions over the last few months. And don’t get us started on new charms featuring the always adorable Baby Yoda! But no matter how many accessories we have, there always seems to be room for one more…
Splash Mountain has been getting a lot of attention lately!
The Walt Disney World attraction will soon be transformed into a Princess and the Frog ride. Since the announcement, fans have been flocking to the Briar Patch gift shop to pick up Splash Mountain merchandise. We don’t know when the ride will be shut down for refurbishment or how long it will take for the ride to reopen once construction begins. We noticed something interesting while perusing the My Disney Experience app today!
Now that the Disney World theme parks have reopened, Disney is making changes to help mitigate the effects of the closures.
Though the Disney Dining Plan is currently unavailable, we’ve been looking into how the Tables in Wonderland dining discount membership is handled in a reopened Disney World — especially for the many whose membership expired during the closure. We knew that Disney intended to extend Tables in Wonderland due to the closures, and now we know what we can expect of that extension!
Who’s ready to spice up their dinner? We’ve caught a peek at a totally adorable slow cooker starring one of our favorite Disney pals!
As far as we’re concerned, adding a little Stitch into the mix always brightens our day. There are so many ways for Disney fans to show their love for this mischievous rascal, like a plush from Build-a-Bear, this cozy Stitch hat, and some seriously cool accessories from Loungefly. But here at DFB, we’re always on the lookout for more!
It’s NEVER too early to start thinking about Halloween!
Although the 2020 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was canceled this year, that doesn’t mean that we can’t gear up for some Halloween fun at home! So, while you’re streaming the 2019 Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks, get ready to get shopping. Disney just dropped a TON of new Halloween merch online, so let’s take a look at the costumes, spirit jerseys, and MORE!
Walt Disney World theme parks are officially open to the public. New health and safety regulations were implemented to increase sanitation and encourage physical distancing between travel groups.
Per regulations, guests are required to wear face-coverings at all times. Disney has set specific requirements for masks and will only accept guests who have the proper coverage. The only time guests are allowed to remove the mask is when they are actively eating or drinking while stationary or at a relaxation station. [Read more…]
Though Disney Springs has reopened there are still some construction projects that are dealing with the effects of the global health crisis.
Just last week we found out that Ample Hills Creamery will no longer be coming to Disney Springs, and now we know that another project is on HOLD for now. Beatrix Restaurant, Market & Coffee Bar, an upcoming Disney Springs location has currently paused its construction.
Things are looking a little bit different today in Animal Kingdom’s DinoLand U.S.A. We paid a visit to this section which hosts the park’s very own wacky and whimsical street carnival… and just so happens to be home to Primeval Whirl.
The attraction had only been operating seasonally for some time. However, it was recently revealed that Primeval Whirl is one of three attractions permanently closing in Walt Disney World. [Read more…]
Disney World has been in the process of reopening for over a month now and we’re getting used to the new normal.
We’ve been adjusting to the new health measures like face masks and temperature checks, and it seems Disney has done some adjusting of its own. Though we’ve already had to get our temperatures checked in Disney Springs and at the theme parks, Disney World just updated its temperature screening mandate to apply to table-service restaurants in the resort hotels.
