EPCOT is gearing up for its grand reopening celebration tomorrow — which will also be the official start date of the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.

And while we’ve been exploring the park during a special Cast Member preview this week, EPCOT’s World Showcase has felt a little different. Each pavilion is normally staffed by cultural representatives from each of the represented countries, but for now, it could be a long time before all of the cultural ambassadors can return to Disney World.
Disney World has reopened, but there are still some changes to be made to some of the new systems.
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder
Annual Passholders have been on a bit of a rollercoaster this year when it comes to getting their money’s worth. Many folks have had their passes extended for the length of the closure — but that’s not the end of things. With the introduction of the Disney Park Pass reservation system to limit capacity, Passholders aren’t necessarily guaranteed entry into the parks.
To help mitigate Passholder concerns, Disney recently announced an added 30-day extension on top of the closure extension to make up for the capacity limits. Now, we know that those extensions are coming soon — and Passholders have another option.

Disneyland Resort has been closed since March with no established reopening date.
Disneyland Annual Passholder Magnet
Annual Passholders were granted an initial extension when the park first closed. Passholders who paid in full automatically had their expiration date extended for the number of days the parks will be closed or have the option to receive a partial refund. Two of Disney World’s theme parks have already reopened to the general public while the remaining two are set to open tomorrow.

All guests who visit must have valid theme park admission and a reservation to visit Disney World during its reopening phase. And availability for Annual Passholders has been pretty slim. Now, Disney has shared that they will be increasing availability for Annual Passholders.Â
