Although we’ve known NBA players would soon be arriving at Disney World to finish their 2019-2020, it got A LOT more real today!
That’s because Disney World and the National Basketball Association have been keeping their preparations mostly hush-hush — until today!

Though the Walt Disney World theme parks won’t reopen until July 11th (starting with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom followed by EPCOT and Hollywood Studios on July 15th), select Resort hotels began welcoming guests on June 22nd.

We’re just over a week away from Disney World’s grand re-opening on July 11th! While Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will be opening first, you’ll also be able to head to Epcot and Hollywood Studios on July 15th. Guests will only be able to visit the parks if they have a Disney Park Pass reservation at this time (which have now opened to resort guests, Annual Passholders, and regular ticket holders). However, we’re here to share some of the other HUGE ways Disney World will be switching things up soon!
Disney World will start reopening its theme parks in a little over a week.
Although vacation planning may look a little bit different right now, guests have been able to make reservations through the Disney Park Pass system to visit the parks. Reservations are now open to resort guests, Annual Passholders, and regular ticket holders so everyone can schedule a time to go back to their favorite park.
Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will reopen to guests on July 11th (along with Disney’s Animal Kingdom, followed by Hollywood Studios and EPCOT on July 15th).
One of the attractions guests can enjoy again starting reopening day is the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. (You can see the entire list of attractions that will be open on July 11th here.)
