We already knew this week was going to be a BIG ONE now that the parks are getting ready to welcome guests back in just a few days!
But we weren’t expecting to see this adorable Orange Bird accessory fly into shopDisney today!
Downtown Disney will be reopening in Disneyland on July 9th. There will also be a preview for Cast Members on July 8th.
While the shopping and dining district will likely be opening again with outdoor dining only with more locations to come soon, Salt and Straw will be mixing up ice cream for guests again this week!
Disney World is seeing a lot of changes in the parks before reopening with the ever-changing protocols and guidelines taking place in Florida.
Different locations in Disney Springs have recently been affected by Florida’s alcohol ban, where restaurants who make 50% of their profits from the sale of alcohol were forced to close. However, the Florida order has been updated with a new amendment that changes the details of the ban. Instead, restaurants who sell both food and alcohol are able to operate with a limited capacity of 50% and distancing measures.
Now that we know Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival will be returning (in a modified and slightly smaller [but LONGER!] form), we’re looking forward to seeing which food booths will be returning!
Disney has told us a Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will feature 20 signature global marketplaces and will “continue into the fall” making it Epcot’s longest festival of ALL TIME! But with only 20 slots to fill, some of our favorite food booths won’t be coming back this year!
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another DFB Video, and today we’re talking about the 8 things EVERYONE’S afraid of in Disney World.
With so many changes going on right now and the sheer amount of planning it takes to prepare for a Disney World trip, it can be pretty daunting if not downright scary…but, don’t worry — we’ve got the tips to help!
Alright, guys! Who’s hungry for another totally epic ranking?? We know Chewbacca certainly is! After all, he’s got some skin the game with his Wookiee Cookie!
So far, we’ve ranked the lands at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom by just their snacks and snacks ALONE! And you probably guessed it — we’re getting ready to hit up the lands of Disney’s Hollywood Studios next!
Walt Disney World has reopened, and that has left us with a LOT of questions.
One BIG question that’s top of mind for many potential visitors is with Disney World open, can you even go? This is a BIG question for international travelers. The current status of international flight schedules and availability make it pretty clear that international travel is being discouraged right now. But, is international travel flat-out banned? And what does that mean for Disney fans abroad? We’re taking a look.
Since Disney World will start to re-open this week beginning with Annual Passholder Previews, Disney Transportation will also start going back into operation.
While Disney Buses already opened up again on June 22nd with new health and safety modifications, other transportations options will be following starting July 7th. Although the Skyliner will be opening again July 15th, the Monorails are slated to be one of the first Disney Transportation systems to welcome guests back again.
Disney World restaurants have started to re-open at the Disney Resorts and Disney Springs. When the parks open up again next week, multiple quick-service and table-service locations will be available for guests to visit as well.
At this time, Advance Dining Reservations in the parks are only available to guests who have had select reservations canceled due to the closures. However, since Florida has been changing its health and safety guidelines to stay up-to-date with the unfolding situation, Disney restaurants have also had to make a few changes to follow these orders.
When the Disney World parks reopen later this month, guests will need to make a reservation in order to enter.
This will be managed using the new Disney Park Pass reservation system, which allows guests to select a reservation for one theme park per day. There is a set amount of availability each day for Disney Resort guests, guests with regular theme park tickets, and Annual Passholders.
