Today, we’re taking you on a very special behind-the-scenes journey!
We’re going to find out what life at Disney World is like from a non-guest’s perspective. That’s right — we’re diving into the deep secret lives of Disney’s Cast Members!
Who’s ready to play another exciting DFB tournament? We know WE ARE! This time we’re pulling out all the stops and taking our competition to the silver screen!
That’s right — while we’ve already witnessed some epic battles ensue in our Snack Madness tournament along with our Rides and Attractions smackdown, we’re getting all glitzed and glammed up to play another game! Pop some popcorn and let the Disney movies PLAY!
Now that Cinderella Castle in Disney World has received its “royal makeover” to get it ready for Disney World’s big 50th anniversary this year, we thought it would be fun to look back on all the different overlays each castle has received throughout the years!
You wouldn’t believe how much (or how little!) they’ve changed over time! Let’s take a peek at some castle designs from years gone by!
It’s already sold out twice, and we know many of you are anxious to get one! But since you have little time to kill before the pre-waiting room opens at 11:30AM CST, we wanted to show you some other hard-to-get Baby Yoda items!
Just yesterday, it was announced that the Japanese government would be lifting the state of emergency for Tokyo.
In response, it appears that some businesses and destinations are already beginning to reopen. Ikspiari, the shopping and dining district at Tokyo Disney Resort, just announced that it will be reopening on June 1st.
We stopped by Disney Springs to check out the newly reopened locations and, of course, enjoy some eats!
Disney Springs began a phased reopening on May 20th, with select third-party shops and restaurants welcoming back guests. And the new health and safety measures weren’t the only thing that was different — we also spotted menu updates at several of the Disney Springs restaurants. Here are the biggest menu changes we saw!
A lot is changing in and around Disney World right now as some stores and restaurants have recently reopened in Disney Springs and Disney World’s official reopening date has been announced.
But that’s not all that’s been happening lately. As many of you know, last week Disney World said they would be reopening with a brand new reservation system which meant they needed pause ticket sales and hotel reservations temporarily.
Just days ago, California’s Orange County met the required criteria and was cleared to transition into a “full stage two” of California’s reopening plan.
This new phase permitted “limited services” including retail with curbside pickup and outdoor museums. But now, counties are able to make their own decisions regarding reopening in-store retail.
Have you ever built your own sundae and there were just too many choices??
The ice cream was already starting to melt as you piled on even more sprinkles and cookie crumbs? Well we have some great news for you — you can have ALL the toppings with this sundae recipe inspired by the Kitchen Sink from Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.
Welcome back to our rainy day stop by Disney Springs. We’re back at Morimoto Asia Street Food which — as luck would have it — offers covered outdoor seating so we can still check out some of Chef Morimoto’s Pan-Asian cuisine, even as the drizzle still comes down!
This isn’t our only recent stop at the counter service location for Morimoto Asia. We were just here last week to check out the new safety procedures that the eatery has implemented as Disney Springs has started its phased reopening — and you can read all about the new processes here. Today, though, we’re back to grab a few more bites to eat, and we’d love it if you joined us! [Read more…]
