If you’ve been hanging around here at DFB recently, then you’ve probably seen our posts about all the shenanigans going on in the tiny train village in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion. This itty bitty city has suffered everything from werewolf attacks to giant lizards to mass murders. It’s anarchy! But we simply can’t stay away…so come with us to see what happened this week.

We’re members, too, which means we are always looking to find the latest and greatest Disney Deals. Now, you might already know that Sam’s Club is a great place to get discounted Disney gift cards (which are great for Disney vacations), but you can also nab some pretty good deals on other Disney merchandise, too. This week, we’ve found some pretty AWESOME things that will have you screaming at Sam’s Club to take your money.

Granted, most of that talk revolves around Disney World, because we have had the occasional good slice over on the West Coast in Disneyland. Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta in Disney California Adventure has always offered a pretty decent slice, but let’s just say that it has plussed up its pizza and given it a Mexican twist — and it’s everything we ever wanted.
Yes, we like to keep up with McDonald’s news because we eat at McDonald’s almost as much as we eat at Disney.

Granted, we love getting those Disney-themed Happy Meals (even when they sometimes spoil movies). We also like to try new items that pop up at McDonald’s from time to time. Well, speaking of new, there’s a brand NEW McFlurry and it’s inspired by…well…your grandma!
We don’t have to wait too much longer until the walls around the CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT come down and we’ll finally be able to experience a mostly wall-less EPCOT! That’s kind of a wild thought if you think about it for a bit.

It’s been a project years in the making and while we’ve been tracking the progress of the CommuniCore Hall’s build from the jump, it’s almost time to see the realized dream come to life. We’ve seen EPCOT testing the colorful lights within the geodesic tiles during the day and now we’ve finally caught a glimpse of what they’ll look like at night! [Read more…]
Bob Iger just dropped a TON of information on Disney’s recent past and the company’s immediate future.

Iger, the two-time CEO of Disney who had the position from 2005 to 2020 before retiring and anointing Bob Chapek as his successor only to return to the role in 2022 after Chapek was ousted, recently participated in a Q&A session at the MoffettNathanson Media, Internet & Communications Conference.
