NEWS: Dining Reservations for Disneyland Resort Restaurants Currently Unavailable for Booking in July

Disneyland Resort remains closed until further notice in response to the current global situation. Looking forward, though, guests are currently able to make reservations for Disneyland Resort as bookings for future vacations are currently being accepted for dates starting July 1st.

That said, we are keeping an eye on other areas of the Disneyland website including Advance Dining Reservations for restaurants around the Resort. And — at press time — the Disneyland website is showing no times available to book dining in July. [Read more…]

News! Jaleo Will NOT Be Reopening at Disney Springs in Disney World on May 20th

NEWS! Disney Cruise Line Has Canceled MORE Sailings Into July

Disney Cruise Line has been canceling sailings little by little as the global health crisis progresses.

NEWS: Orlando Mayor Cancels 4th of July Fireworks Display

Mayor Buddy Dyer announced in a press conference yesterday that the city of Orlando’s Fourth of July fireworks display is being canceled this year.

A pre-recorded version of Fireworks at the Fountain, the annual show held at Orlando’s Lake Eola Park, will be televised instead.

News: Los Angeles County Considering a Three Month Extension of Stay-at-Home Orders

Governments around the country are continuing to make decisions on when to stay closed and when to open up.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the states that Disney parks are in and there have been some interesting developments. Despite California moving through their phased reopening plan, Los Angeles County (just next door to Disneyland’s Orange County) has stated that stay-at-home orders will likely be extended for the next three months.

Since the parks have been closed, we’ve been having some MAJOR withdrawal from all the amazing restaurants in Disney World. From simple Mickey Pretzels at the food carts to the HUGE Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream, Disney hands-down has some of the best treats to indulge in when you’re at the parks.

Buuut, that doesn’t mean they’re all hits! There are still snack and drink flops, even in the Most Magical Place on Earth.

NEWS: Six Flags Theme Parks to Implement Date and Time Reservation System When Parks Reopen

Shanghai Disneyland reopened after its lengthy closure just this past Monday. However, all other Disney Parks around the world — including, of course, Walt Disney World and Disneyland — remain closed until further notice in light of the current global health situation.

That said, Disney has shared some of the health and safety measures being considered for the eventual reopening of all the parks. One measure is limiting guest capacity in order to promote physical distancing. This has already been implemented with the reopening of Shanghai Disneyland, which — during this initial phase — is requiring the advance purchase of theme park tickets assigned to a date, as well as required reservations for Annual Passholders.
