Disney Cruise Line Updates Refund Policy for Guests Affected by Cancelled Sailings

As the global health crisis continues, a lot of aspects of the tourism industry have been pretty touch and go.

Perhaps one of the most affected types of travel has been cruise ships. Disney Cruise Line has been taking it day by day in deciding when to further sailing cancellations. A few days ago, there was an extension for suspensions across the whole cruise line and now the Disney is extending an offer to guests originally scheduled on one of the canceled sailings and who chose to move their sail date previously.

News! Disney World Is Notifying Guests and Canceling More Reservations in May

While we wait for Governor Ron DeSantis to release his re-opening Florida outline (which he is expected to announce today) Disney World has started sending out another round of emails to more guests (last week, the company sent out emails for those with reservations through May 16th), informing them the parks will be closed until further notice.

These notifications are being sent out to guests who had bookings during the week of May 17th through 23rd, 2020.

Florida’s Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force Considers Who Should Determine the Reopening of Theme Parks

If you followed along with some of yesterday’s conversations by Florida’s Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force, you may recall that discussions addressed the reopening of various businesses around the county, including the area’s theme parks in light of the current closures due to the global situation.
