Photos! Shanghai Disney Resort Testing Simulated Health Measures for a Possible Reopening

Shanghai Disney Resort in China was the first Disney property to be affected by the global health crisis. The resort was closed in late January.

Being the first property affected also means that Shanghai is the furthest along in the course of the crisis and could have a chance to open a little sooner than the rest of the world. Recently, Shanghai Disney Resort started a phased reopening with its resorts and some retail. Now, it looks like the parks are doing some simulations to test out their new health and safety measures.

Last week, we took a virtual spin — thanks to a video provided by Disney — on Magic Kingdom’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Walt Disney World. And this week, we’re heading to Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort for a virtual ride on Pixar Pier’s Incredicoaster!
