We were just hangin’ out, checking out the Disney news (you know, the usual), when we got a notification to head to the My Disney Experience app (or the Disneyland app!) to watch the new Shorts by Disney Parks. The first short in the series is called “Float On” and stars a trio of Disney Parks Ducks!
There’s no denying that things are a little weird right now. Today is supposed to be Tax Day, and whether you filed on time or you’re waiting until July 15 to pay Uncle Sam, one thing is for certain: we could all use a break!

Even though the parks are currently closed, we want to make sure you’re prepared for your triumphant return to Disney World when the day comes! And, as tempting as it is to look forward to 2021 (aka, Disney World’s 50th anniversary) for the additions coming to Epcot and Magic Kingdom, you might be missing out on recent changes that will have a MAJOR impact on your trip! From new modes of transportation around the parks, to policy updates, we’re looking at some of the big changes in Disney World you might have missed!
With the parks currently closed, Disney World and Disneyland have chosen to furlough several Cast and Crew Members beginning April 19th.
Dapper Dans in Magic Kingdom
More than half of Disney World’s employees were furloughed through the latest agreement with the Service Trades Council Union. We also saw furloughs of other unionized musicians and electrical workers, but now an agreement has been reached regarding unionized performers.
Monday has come and gone (phew!). We think that means it’s time to celebrate the start of a new week with some online shopping!!
