When we first saw the new line of ABC Disney merchandise in the Disney parks, it was truly love at first SIGHT!

The collection of monogram merch featured classic Disney icons for all 26 letters in the alphabet! We couldn’t wait to find out which design we got! But since the collection had only recently debuted, some people didn’t have a chance to grab their letter before Disney World closed down!

But no matter how often we visit the parks or how hard we look around, there’s just some stuff you won’t see at the parks! At least not unless some major changes take place!
With the current closure of the Disney parks and the postponement of some upcoming Disney films, things may be a little strange and sad for Disney fans right now.

Well, last night Disney acknowledged that fans may need some words of support. The company sent out an email (ours came from Disney Destinations) offering words of comfort and togetherness in a time where our sense of community is at the forefront of our minds.
We’ve all been there before when you’re patiently waiting in a long line at Disney World (maybe playing Heads Up with your fam).

Buuut, suddenly you’re hit with a spray of bubbles from one of your kids out of nowhere. Or, you might even get blasted in the face with water from a misting fan (we’re not sure which is worse). While we usually LOVE shopping for Disney merchandise, there are definitely a few items that we’ve regretted purchasing!

However, with the theatrical release of Onward cut short by the current world health situation, the film was soon released on Disney+. Now, the accompanying short, “Playdate with Destiny” will be coming to the streaming service too! Yay!

This late ’80s/early ’90s TV show followed the daily like of Doogie Howser, the world’s youngest surgeon. Well now, a reboot featuring a girl in the title role is in development AND it’s coming to Disney+!

While Disney World remains closed, they certainly aren’t taking a break when it comes to switching up their food and beverage offerings! With the current indefinite closure of the Disney parks, the company is moving to furlough nonessential employees. For non-union employees, this furlough was announced several days ago to begin on April 19th.

Since then, the company has been working with a variety of unions — such as the American Federation of Musicians Local 389 and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 2088 — to come to agreements about their members. Now, Disneyland has settled on a furlough agreement with the Independent Employee Service Association representing some security employees.
