Starting Tomorrow The Entire State of Florida Will Be Under Stay at Home Orders

Update: As of April 17th, the governor has allowed some beaches and parks to reopen. Gatherings of 50 or more people are prohibited and social distancing must be practiced.

A little over a week ago residents of Orange county followed shortly by Osceola county went under orders to stay at home. Walt Disney World Resort resides between these two jurisdictions.

But today, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced a 30-day stay at home order for all of Flordia. This order begins on April 2nd at midnight.

Here at DFB our thoughts are with all who have been affected. While the parks are closed, we will continue reporting and writing articles our readers will need and use once the parks reopen. There are few things we are looking forward to this year as much as the 2020 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival! Epcot is often seen as the “adult park” in comparison to the other Disney parks, so some families struggle with the idea of bringing children along.

Not only is Epcot an excellent park for the whole family, but the Food and Wine Festival itself is a great place to take kids! Breaking News! Disney Just Purchased MORE Land Near Disney World!

While The Walt Disney Company has had to make several costly moves lately including closing down its parks until further notice and delaying movie premieres, it seems they’re also thinking ahead.

Disney Parks Has Donated 150,000 Rain Ponchos to Hospitals and Medical Professionals

With the current closures of Disney theme parks and the Disney Cruise Line, the company is finding ways to help the world in its time of need.

You might remember that we asked for all those stay-at-homers out there to donate any extra rain ponchos to New York Hospitals a few days ago (they’re still accepting donations!). Well, Disney parks got in on the charitable spirit as well and donated 150,000 rain ponchos to hospitals in need during this time.

La Cava del Tequila Is Having a BIG Guest on For Their Next Live Stream
