We’ve been following along with the construction progress at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows (yep, that’s the official name!), but Disney recently revealed even MORE details about the new Disney Vacation Club property, including new concept art of the building’s lobby (it’s SO pretty). Tokyo DisneySea’s highly anticipated new land, Fantasy Springs, is opening soon on June 6th, and so are the land’s four BRAND NEW RIDES!

If you had a $40,000 vehicle, you would never loan it out to a stranger for $50 when that stranger had no idea how to drive it and had no supervision, right? That, apparently, is one of the key differences between you and Disney World.

Turns out, you can rent a pontoon boat and drive it around Bay Lake (that’s the one right in front of Magic Kingdom), and it’s SHOCKINGLY cheap. Like, cheaper than a meal at one of Disney World’s fancy signature dining restaurants. The price tag was a surprise in itself, but what came AFTER I rented the boat just made my jaw DROP. Downtown Disney has been getting quite a bit of an overhaul, including getting MANY new restaurants (oh, yeah, you know we’re excited).

Most recently, three of those new restaurants opened: Paseo, Centrico, and Tiendita, with all three restaurants having menus created by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán. Disney has brought the little restaurant with our favorite ruffians and thugs to life at Fantasy Springs in Tokyo Disney.
