Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a huge celebration that takes place each fall in Magic Kingdom, and Disney finally confirmed it would be returning this year!

This year’s party runs from August 9th through October 31st and will bring exclusive eats, merchandise, entertainment, characters, and more to Magic Kingdom. Disney shared a bit more details about what we can expect from this year’s event — so let’s dive right into what you need to know!

Oogie Boogie Bash is a wildly popular Halloween event in Disney California Adventure. It includes immersive treat trails, the Frightfully Fun Parade, the Mickey’s Trick-Or-Treat show, Villains Grove, special character experiences, and more. And now, we’ve got a huge update about this year’s party!

The spooky season is one of our favorites in Disney World! We love all the Halloween decorations, the special snacks, and, of course, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Granted, it already feels like summer in Disney World (yes, it’s getting hot out), but that hasn’t stopped us from celebrating Hollywood Studios’ 35th Anniversary, seeing what new cookies Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs is offering this month, and chowing down on what is essentially a massive cake pop. We’ve also been keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, and the beginning of a new month has brought a LOT of changes.
Welcome to EPCOT. The park for people who love characters, rides (hello, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind), food (there’s a World Showcase FULL of great meals), and, of course, drinks. Yep, drinking around the world has become a pretty big thing in EPCOT, but there’s one special day in May that attracts even MORE people to this park. The crowds showed up at EPCOT on May 5th. Any guesses why?

May 5th is Cinco de Mayo, and while Disney didn’t announce any special Cinco de Mayo offerings, we spotted plenty of people in EPCOT ready to celebrate! Wait until you see what we mean.
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is home to a seriously surprising amount of activities for families and groups of friends. There’s an entire ranch at this resort with a BIG barn you can explore!
Horseback riding at Fort Wilderness
One of the most popular activities is horseback riding. A few times a day, guests can participate in a 45-minute horseback ride through the wooded trails of the campground. However, this summer, this offering will be temporarily unavailable.
We’ve tried a lot of snacks in Disney World, some that we’ve loved and plenty that we never want to see again.

Sometimes, we’re surprised by great snacks that looked a little questionable, or vice versa. For all our sweet treat fans, there’s a new cookie in Disney’s Hollywood Studios you’ll want to try (even if you’re a little hesitant at first)!
A trip to Disney World is a dream come true for many of us, and a special way to remember that moment is that perfect picture. Included with your park ticket, however, is a little bit of heat, a dash of humidity, and sweat galore, which means our “perfect picture” can be ruined with melted-off makeup and droopy eyeliner.

Sure, you can head straight into the Emporium like everyone else does and grab the same shirts, pins, ears, and accessories that everyone else is buying. Now, don’t get us wrong, we love seeing the latest Loungefly bags, designer ears, and other popular souvenirs. However, our favorite Magic Kingdom souvenir comes from a shop that you’re probably just walking by without ever realizing it’s there.
Star Wars Day has come and gone, but we’re still celebrating all things Star Wars here at DFB.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
That’s because the Season of the Force is still going strong in Disneyland (it lasts through June 2nd), which means we’ll be celebrating everything from a galaxy far, far away for a little longer. Now, that event brings special snacks to the parks, but May the 4th brings more special snacks (some you can only find for ONE DAY) to both Disney World and Disneyland. Yes, we were on BOTH coasts to try out a BUNCH of May the 4th treats, and we’ve got reviews for all of them!
