Fantasmic! in Disneyland
In April 2023, tragedy struck Disneyland Park when the Fantasmic! dragon went up in flames, causing the nighttime spectacular to be shelved for over a year. After a long wait, Fantasmic! is finally returning on May 24th, 2024 and it appears its dining packages are coming back in full force, as well!

We talk incessantly about how hot it will be, and we will continue to do so until we stop seeing people suffering from heat stroke in the parks because they’re not staying hydrated (which will never happen, unfortunately). Going to Disney World during the summer is a DIFFERENT experience, and you need some very specific essentials to survive.Â

Some of our favorite EPCOT bathrooms are in the UK Pavilion.
Everyone has to go to the bathroom during their Disney World day (and if you don’t, that probably means you’re not drinking enough water), so you might as well know which bathrooms are the best, and which ones you may want to stay away from. However, we haven’t talked about THIS bathroom issue in Walt Disney World, and it’s time we sit down and have a discussion.Â
We just got ANOTHER hint that the opening day for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disney World is getting close! While we are still waiting for an official date, we know that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom will be opening this summer and it’ll open later this year at Disneyland Park.Â

We’ve all seen those promotional videos that Disney makes to advertise new stuff, with people riding various rides and enjoying the parks, right? Well, we just spotted a casting call for a promotional video of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and it’s officially our new dream job.
We hate to be the bearer of bad pool news, but here we are. 😞
Doubloon Lagoon Pool
Doubloon Lagoon at Port Orleans — French Quarter is one of our FAVORITE pools on Disney World property. It’s so much fun, with a  a 51-foot long water slide that looks like a sea serpent, a whirlpool spa, and Mardi Gras decorations. The pool closed back in January for a lengthy refurbishment and stayed closed through April 2024. Well, the pool is closed again.

During the Q2 2024 earnings call, we heard a lot about the growth The Walt Disney Company has experienced with its streaming platforms. We also heard about a big CHANGE coming to Disney+ soon! But we were really hoping for a new update on the possible growth and expansions happening at Disney’s theme parks, including some that might be funded by Disney’s $60 billion investment, which was announced last fall. We just got some HUGE updates at Disney’s second earnings call for fiscal 2024.

The call, which was held on May 7th, revealed a lot of details about the financial state of The Walt Disney Company, including how the company’s streaming business is doing, how the parks are doing, and even insight as to what is happening inside the film studios. Disney CEO Bob Iger has made it a priority in 2024 to bring quality and creativity back to Disney’s studios, and we now have an update on how that is going. The problem? One of the solutions is a bittersweet one.
