If you’ve been here a while, then you know that we’re absolutely OBSESSED with plastic cheese here at DFB.

If you don’t know about plastic cheese, allow me to enlighten you! It’s a cheese sauce you can find in many places around Disney World that Cast Members will serve you in a little open-top plastic cup, usually for a $1 upcharge. We especially love to dip our Casey’s Corner corn dog nuggets and french fries in it! And if you’re as hooked on plastic cheese as we are, then there’s another meal we HAVE to tell you about!

Donald Duck first appeared on-screen nearly 90 (!!!) years ago, on June 9th, 1934. Disney is partnering with a local cafe in Japan and is celebrating in a BIG way this year. Whether it’s the nostalgia that reminds us of childhood or whatever they put into those french fries that keep us coming back for more, we can’t seem to get enough. So, when NEW Happy Meal Toys roll out that combine our love of McDonald’s and Disney, well, that’s a reason to celebrate!

It’s been a busy week, though. We got the dates for the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival and it looks like the festival is going back to an August start, something we haven’t seen since 2019. While we wait for menus to be released for the festival, though, we’re checking out new plant-based burgers, Spiked Coffee, and more. We’re also keeping an eye out for menu changes at Disney World restaurants.
