I used to work at one of DFB’s favorite restaurants!
That’s right! I used to work over at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! I still dream about taking home the delicious pineapple and coconut bread after a shift. This restaurant is super popular and oftentimes is a must-do during people’s vacations. Since ‘Ohana is so popular, some people will try to do whatever it takes to dine here, and I am here to debunk a go-to dining “advantage.”
A National Championship-Winning coach is upholding one of Disney World’s oldest traditions!
The tradition of championship-winning players and coaches being celebrated at one of Disney’s U.S. theme parks dates back to 1987, when Super Bowl MVP Phil Simms declared, “I’m going to Disney World!” after his New York Giants defeated the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXI. Over the years, countless major sports figures have taken part in the tradition following victories, and now a 2024 NCAA National Championship coach is set to join them.
You must be well-prepared for your trip to Disney World.
Being prepared means having tickets, getting the dining reservations you want, paying for travel, and more. But it also means having essentials with you like sunscreen, lotion, and other items that will make your trip more enjoyable. Luckily, since we go to Disney World every day we know just want to pack. And now, a bunch of those items are on sale at Target this week!
No matter what time of year it is, you can probably find some kind of construction or refurbishment project going on at Disney World. But is it just us, or does it seem like there are way more than usual right now?
We’re finally nearing the end of the EPCOT transformation project, but there are still restaurants on the way at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, and a new DVC villa coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. A lot of Disney World hotel rooms are also getting upgrades, including the rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter.
I’m a Disney World reporter, and it’s my job to visit theme parks multiple times a week, which means I’ve got it down to a SCIENCE.
I know the fastest modes of Disney transportation, the secret shortcuts in the parks, and yes, even where the best bathrooms are located. But perhaps some of the most valuable tips I have are the ones I learned from visiting Disney World on its most crowded days of the year.
Take a look at this concept art. Looks nice, right? Well, soon, Disney could make this a reality!
Imagineers are building an ENTIRE new section of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort right now. These new hotel rooms are set to open later this year, but Disney still hasn’t shared an exact opening date quite yet. Trust us, we’re keeping our eyes peeled. While we wait for more news, we might as well check in on the current construction progress, right? Let’s take a look!
Visiting Disney World can be daunting, especially if you or someone you love is living with a disability.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is designed to accommodate guests and their families who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a conventional queue environment due to a disability. The service allows you to schedule a return time that is comparable to the current queue wait for the given attraction. It does not provide immediate attraction access. Disney announced on April 9th that the DAS system would undergo some important changes, and we’re here to break those down for you.
Do you enjoy visiting the Disney World parks after hours?
Special Disney events occasionally take place after the parks have closed, which are excellent opportunities to take advantage of shorter lines and lower crowds. Sometimes, there are even complimentary treats and drinks! We are big fans of attending these after hours events, if you are able. And now, a very popular one is returning soon, and it’s almost time to get registered.
The moment we’ve all been waiting for has FINALLY arrived!
1900 Park Fare has finally reopened as of April 10th at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! This restaurant has been closed since 2020 and we’re thrilled to finally be able to dine here once again. So, of course, we’re taking you with us for a review!
