Greetings from Colonial America — also known as Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom! We recently learned of an exciting appetizer at Liberty Tree Tavern, and we had to try it! And once I got there, something a little lighter caught my eye as well. So when in Rome — or 1776, right?!

Liberty Tree Tavern is a full service restaurant in Liberty Square, themed after Colonial America. It’s always been known for its huge Thanksgiving style meal, served family-style, for dinner — and now that platter is available for lunch as well. New Booking Information for Candy Sushi at the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival

Today is a big day for fans of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival! Booking opened to the general public this morning for the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Special Events, Eat to the Beat Concert Dining Packages, and Seminars and Demonstrations.

However, one returning Festival event is not yet open for booking: the family-friendly Candy Sushi, which will make its return to the Festival since its debut last year. (You can check out our review here.)

In contacting Disney this morning, we were able to learn TWO new pieces of information about booking this event… and it’s good to know in advance, as it filled up fairly rapidly last year. [Read more…]
