As we get closer to May the 4th, a lot of Star Wars celebrations are already happening.

In Disneyland, it’s the Season of the Force, with lots of new merchandise, snacks, a special fireworks show, and more. Disneyland is also bringing back Star Wars Nites ahead of Star Wars Day. On May 3rd, Star Wars: Episode 1 — The Phantom Menace is returning to movie theaters to celebrate its 25th Anniversary. In select theaters, you’ll also be able to get a special popcorn bucket to mark the occasion.
We’re still about a year away from the opening of Universal Orlando’s brand-new theme park, Epic Universe.

However, Universal has been dropping a TON of hints about all five lands in the new theme park, as well as details about some of the rides and attractions in those lands (we’re really excited about the How To Train Your Dragon-themed land). Well, today we learned a bit more about the new HOTELS that are also coming to Universal Orlando as part of that expansion, including confirmation of the room rates.
A brand-new Disney festival is starting SOON!

The Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival is still going on through April 22nd, but Season of the Force just started over in Disneyland and runs through June 2nd. ANOTHER festival, Pixar Fest, will begin on April 26th and run through August 4th. It will span both parks (Disneyland and Disney California Adventure), Downtown Disney, and beyond. Pixar Fest will bring even more NEW food to the park, and we now have the FULL menus for the festival FOOD BOOTHS!

It’s no secret that Disney likes to hide little Easter eggs in EVERYTHING. From Hidden Mickeys to ride secrets, Disney likes to keep us on our toes with fun tidbits. Sometimes these secrets can be obvious or overt, and other times they are incredibly small and easy to miss — like the hidden detail we just spotted at Disneyland.

Pixar Fest is returning to Disneyland Resort, and this year promises to be BIGGER and BETTER than ever. The event will run from April 26th through August 4th, 2024, bringing new merchandise, treats, and shows to BOTH Disneyland and Disney California Adventure (you may even spot some festival favorites at Downtown Disney, too!). As you can guess, the event will feature some of our FAVORITE Pixar pals!

One of runDisney’s popular annual events will take place at the Walt Disney World Resort from April 18th through the 21st. The Springtime Surprise Weekend is chock full of great moments for those participating. However, like any runDisney event, it can lead to some headaches for those simply visiting the resort while it’s happening.

What’s back, you may ask? Why, it’s 1900 Park Fare of course! We visited the Grand Floridian Resort restaurant on its official reopening day of April 10th, 2024, more than four years after it closed due to the 2020 pandemic. With the reopening, you can now grab breakfast and dinner here once again, and we’re taking you along with us to experience our meal. Let’s dive in!
Pixar Fest is coming to Disneyland Resort SOON — from April 26th to August 4th, 2024!

The event will include a NEW daytime parade in Disney California Adventure, plus look out for “Together Forever — A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular,” which will return with NEW scenes. This wouldn’t be a Disney festival without some special decorations, food, and characters, but now we know that two very special souvenirs will be on their way, too!
