Because they’re BUSTED, they don’t work anymore! We’re here to take out the trash today and put those old Disney hacks to the curb. But we’re also gonna share some of the tried and true tips that stand the test of time!
Planning a Disney World trip isn’t for the faint of heart. In fact, it’s why we do what we do here at DFB!
EPCOT monorail
There are just SO many moving parts you need to keep track of — where are you staying and which parks will you go to? Where will you make your dining reservations? Do you think you’ll need Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass? Not to mention keeping up with the park calendar so you know about any odd opening or closing hours… and folks heading to EPCOT in February should do just that!
Another Disney World ride will close in January 2025.
Cinderella Castle
We already know that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will close for at least a year beginning January 6th, 2025. And over in Animal Kingdom, Kali River Rapids will close for refurbishment on January 6th. Also in Animal Kingdom, TriceraTop Spin will be closing permanently on January 13th, 2025, to make way for the new Tropical Americas land. Now, Disney has just announced that a Tomorrowland ride will close soon. Let’s take a look!

So where will you spend New Year’s Eve? Many folks will flock directly to Disney Parks, including Disneyland, to enjoy special New Year’s Eve countdown and fireworks. Many, though, might not want to deal with all the crowds, but might still want to go to a party. Or maybe you can’t get a park pass reservation for New Year’s Eve. Whatever the case, you can still celebrate in Disneyland at a SECRET spot!

Disney is getting ready to change the very FACE of Magic Kingdom by getting rid of the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island to add a new Cars expansion to Frontierland. However, there are also plans to add a brand new Villains-themed land to Magic Kingdom. Ahead of all the work that needs to be done, we recently spotted some land clearing happening near Magic Kingdom.
When we say we go to Disney World every day, we’re not being dramatic. It’s true! We visit Magic Kingdom at LEAST twice a week, and with all those visits to the parks, we’ve found a few tried-and-true products along the way.

Disneyland Paris is currently undergoing a massive transformation at their second park.

Currently named Walt Disney Studios Park, this park will be renamed Disney Adventure World when their huge expansion opens in 2026, which will include World of Frozen and a new Lion King Land. However, this isn’t the only area of the park currently under construction — right now, when you enter the park, you’ll notice that everything is behind walls as it’s overhauled, but now we have some concept art to show us what the new entrance will look like!
