Walt Disney World is always in a state of flux. You never know when a cutting-edge attraction, show or store will make its appearance. That‘s what makes the World such a magical place; guests are continually experiencing unique and exciting things. Case in point…a tasty new shop called The Spice and Tea Exchange, which opened in Mickey’s Pantry on November 9th, 2010, in the Market Place in Downtown Disney.

New Disney Kitchen Accessories for Summer

Minnie’s Kitchen in Toontown has closed up shop, but your kitchen can still thrive with these great new accessories we found in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Invite your favorite character to enjoy a hot beverage with you. These cute mugs with handy spoons are offered in red/Minnie and blue/Mickey themes. The polka dots bring a bit of whimsy to your table while sipping coffee or tea. Currently selling for $11.95 each.

What a delicious day! Casey’s made some changes to their menu, and Matt and I decided to check them out.

We’ve got great news to share! The Disney Food Blog Restaurant Search Tool is currently in Beta and available for use and feedback! We introduced this tool to our Disney Food Blog Newsletter subscribers a couple of months ago, and now it’s time to unveil it to everyone!

The DFB Restaurant Search gives readers the opportunity to search Walt Disney World restaurants for the perfect fit for their family! Simply click a section of the search that’s important to you and check the box that fits your needs. The tool does the rest!

Mix and match from dozens of options, then click on any resulting restaurant to see details, check menus, and read Disney Food Blog posts about those locations.

A Wedding Cake Blog highlights a Cinderella Castle cake made by the Cake Boss. With the cake pictured in front of the Grand Floridian marina, it looks like guests are staring at the real thing!

Stop by and see if Matt “Confirmed” or “Busted” the myth that DHS has the worse counter-service restaurants.

WDW Today Podcast has a very food-oriented episode that aired last Sunday and is now up for download! (I was lucky enough to be the guest on the show!!)

Mousejunkies reviews a homemade Disney Dinner party. Food, fun and friends! You’ll recognize many of the tasty creations. Yum!

Main Street Gazette covers one of my favorite places — including some of the best snacks they offer! Head to Starring Rolls Cafe today.

Dining Discount Offered at Disney World and Disneyland

The very popular voucher for 25 percent off dining at select quick-service restaurants has returned!

Valid at select quick-service restaurants and requiring the purchase of any entree, the voucher will be available at Walt Disney World and Disneyland from April 17-23, 2011.

Print your voucher out or get one from the WDW Resort Times Guide. They’ll also be available on select merchandise receipts or at the bottom of receipts from some resort quick-service locations. Disneyland visitors will find the voucher on the Entertainment Times Guide or on select merchandise receipts.

Guest Review: Black Tie and Blue Jeans, a Tables in Wonderland Event

We joined Tables in Wonderland last year during Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival and right away the discounts we received more than paid for the membership.

We were also very excited about the special events offered to members. When the invitation arrived for what looked like a fun event at the seasonally closed Diamond Horseshoe Saloon in the Magic Kingdom and our schedules were clear, we were in!
