Now through January 7, you can enjoy Sicilian-style Margherita pizza by the slice at a pick-up podium at Via Napoli. An a la carte single-serving dessert and fountain beverage will also be available.

Happy Christmas, everyone!

So, I was wandering around Epcot’s Germany during our October vacation and found myself in the Christmas store there. “Wow,” I thought, “there’s so much great Christmas stuff here that I’d love to write about, but none of it is food-related, so… .” But then, there it was! Glimmering in the late-afternoon sunlight — Beer! Cookies! Christmas! I knew then and there that I wanted to write about this perky little tree, and I figured I’d save it for today!

To their credit, Kouzzina was only closed for refurbishment for a few weeks, so we’re excited that anything happened in that time! That said… The Kouzzina dining room will still be large, loud, and barn-like — not bad, just not all that different from what it was. On my last trip to Walt Disney World, I stole a few precious moments on my own at the Magic Kingdom.

Now, when most people find themselves solo at the MK, they might hit up a ride they haven’t been on in a while or maybe do some shopping at the Emporium. Me? I eat. This time, it was seasonal treats that I’d never tried before: Pumpkin Fudge and a Holiday Cupcake!

Gingerbread Displays At Disney World 2010, Part 2

As you know, Disney World showcases some truly edible artistry when it comes to their amazing gingerbread displays during the holidays! So far this year, we’ve gone on a photo tour of the Grand Floridian’s Gingerbread House and the gingerbread displays in Disney’s Boardwalk, Beach Club, and Contemporary resorts.

Review: San Angel Inn Restaurante

Well, we finally did it. After dreading a trip back to Epcot’s San Angel Inn in the Mexico pavilion due to a couple of bad meals there, we booked an ADR. It was more a “we have to go because I write a food blog” thing than an avid desire to give the restaurant another chance, but…as it turns out…we’d been missing out for far too long.

Atmosphere
Atmosphere has always been the main selling feature of San Angel Inn. Located inside the Epcot Mexico pyramid with seating along the Gran Fiesta Tour river, this restaurant offers a fun ambiance that you just won’t get anywhere else (besides Blue Bayou in Disneyland, maybe!).

Because the Mexico Pavilion’s pyramid is home to the set-up of a Mexican village in the evening, the restaurant is in a perpetual state [Read more…]
