Okay, it’s almost time for one of the biggest sporting events of the year.

Yep, the Super Bowl will be coming up soon! Now, we’ll admit that we always watch the Super Bowl mostly for the commercials (like a lot of people), but this year those commercials could be rather meaningful for one person. That’s because DoorDash is having a contest where someone will win EVERY SINGLE THING advertised during football’s big day. Yes, EVERYTHING.
Disney tried something NEW this past winter. Something ambitious and — in theory — perfect for its loyal audience of holiday party guests. So what went wrong?
Jollywood Nights
As you may know, events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are wildly popular. These parties sell out pretty much every year, and fans return over and over again. But Disney’s NEW Jollywood Nights holiday party didn’t seem to have the success many expected. Several party dates came and went without selling out, and the overall reception was lukewarm. Will Disney bring Jollywood Nights BACK in 2024? We may have a clue!
Disney World has announced quite a few projects in recent years!

Some of those projects are currently underway (like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure), while we’re still waiting on updates for others (we’re looking at you, PLAY! Pavilion). And in Magic Kingdom, there’s one project that was announced…but we’re still waiting to hear more! Honestly, this one has us intrigued.
Move over, Disney World! There’s a NEW theme park coming to town, and it’s gonna be EPIC. (How long til that joke gets old?)  Universal Orlando Resort’s Epic Universe is coming to Orlando, Florida SOON. But how soon?

In fact, I’m usually in the parks multiple times a week. Unfortunately, after a while, some things lose a little bit of their charm. Visiting The Emporium is less exciting when I’m fighting for my life while trying to take pictures of a new pair of Minnie ears, and Main Street, U.S.A. loses a tiny bit of its appeal when it’s slammed with fans before a parade. But no matter how many times I visit, some things never get old.

Some of these rules are pretty well-known. Balloons are not allowed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the safety of the animals. You can’t bring alcoholic beverages into the parks. You can’t wear full character costumes to the parks unless you’re attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Disney CEO Bob Iger has shared that improving streaming at Disney was his number one priority, and we’ve seen significant changes since his return.

Disney’s latest quarterly earnings call happened on February 7th, 2024. Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed a LOT about the future of The Walt Disney Company, but there were a few notable exceptions.
