No one is hiding this truth — Disney World can be expensive!
When you start calculating the flight cost, hotel reservation, and park tickets, you’ll quickly see how much money it can cost to visit Disney World. And that doesn’t even include the other expenses like dining. So, what can you do to help bring the cost down? Let’s talk about a very cheap lunch option in Disney World that could be a crowd-pleaser for your group!
A whole new collection of treats just burst on the scene at Disney World!
This February in Disney World, we’re finding all kinds of tasty new treats and savory selections! What’s with all the new snacks? Disney is hosting the Celebrate Soulfully event for Black History Month. Not only did we get a chance to finally taste some of Tiana’s Famous Beignets, but we also found a milkshake we went BANANAS for! However, our hunt to try them all wasn’t over, so we found ourselves looking for a dino-bite snack! [Read more…]
Disney’s newest hotel has opened at Disneyland — and it’s pretty amazing!
We’re talking about Pixar Place Hotel, which was re-themed from the previous Paradise Pier Hotel. The new hotel, though, is ALL about Pixar movies and has a ton of fun movie details that Pixar fans are going to love. Even better, you can even meet some RARE Pixar characters there, too. Now, we’ve already given you a room tour of a standard room at Pixar Place Hotel, but now we’re taking you on a tour of one of the hotel’s Pixel Signature Suites!
Last year, we said goodbye to the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser forever.
Although the experience of being on the Starcruiser was unique, Disney decided to close it because “it didn’t perform” the way Disney had hoped.” Many blamed Disney’s marketing for the experience, while others believed the high price made it mostly unobtainable for many Star Wars fans. Well, now, the building that held the Galactic Starcruiser is just sitting empty, but we’re seeing indications that Disney isn’t quite done with it just yet.
The world’s biggest family man is going to be in Orlando. This is not a drill.
While being in Orlando may not be a big deal, being in Orlando and SO CLOSE to Disney World is pretty tempting — even for celebrities. History has shown us that celebrities love a good trip to Disney World — and we don’t expect (or want) that trend to end anytime soon. Oh, and we’re not just speculating here. The celebrity in question mentioned plans to visit Disney World. Folks, buckle up because the Kelce family is taking on Disney World! [Read more…]
Okay, so going to Disney World isn’t cheap.
Sure, there are ways to save money. You could even manage to find a great flight deal. Sometimes, there are even deals on hotel stays and tickets. But one Disney fan tried to get into Disney World for less money than anyone has IN YEARS…by using a vintage ticket from 1978. So, the question on everyone’s mind: did it work?!
It may feel like it was just yesterday that Disney dropped a TON of updates on new projects planned for the parks and resorts. But time flies — and we’ve already got a potential update on the HUGE Magic Kingdom park expansion.
We’re starting to see some of Disney’s visions come to life through the newest Disney Cruise Line ship to join the fleet, Disney’s latest tropical destination for Disney Cruise Line passengers, the appearance of the Hatbox Ghost in Disney World’s version of the Haunted Mansion ride, and most recently the closing of Country Bear Jamboree to make way for a new version of the classic attraction. But there’s one project that’s been on our minds a LOT lately. Let’s talk aboutit!
Is it time for a breakup?
Breakups can be hard, especially if you’re talking about breaking up with your Disney World Annual Pass. The reality is that even with hotel discounts, complimentary magnets, and other exclusive discounts, sometimes there just aren’t enough benefits to keep renewing your annual pass year after year. Also, one Disney World competitor is making it very enticing to switch to their annual pass.
The Walt Disney Company is getting ready for its 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, and they’re pleading with stakeholders to support their nominations for the Board of Directors.
Disney made it clear that they do not endorse the nominations of Nelson Peltz and former Disney CFO Jay Rasulo in their announcement, and now, a letter has been sent to shareholders urging them to vote against Peltz and Rasulo.
