Two Disney World rides will close THIS WEEK for LONG refurbishments! Disney occasionally has to shut down rides and attractions in order to update them, and although sometimes those closures only last a few days, this time two rides will be closed for multiple months.

We’re officially a week in to 2024, and in just one week, we’re convinced that this year is going to be a great one in the Disney Parks. Why? Well, we got all sorts of GOOD omens this week. We won’t lie — when we took the high-speed Brightline train from Orlando International Airport to Miami, it was a game-changer for us.

Imagine being able to get to some MAJOR cities in Florida without the hassle of driving OR flying. That means no traffic AND no hassle at the airport. Brightline is certainly trying to make that a reality, and it seems its next step could be a new route to Tampa. A new bill has just been introduced suggesting a Brightline route to Tampa.

Change is inevitable at the Disney Parks and Disneyland is no exception. Amid rumors of Disneyland expansion, the Anaheim-based park is about to close a popular experience for good. That’s right, “Tale of the Lion King” is ending after its final show on January 7th.
