The date of Disney’s first shareholder meeting of 2024 has yet to be announced, but ahead of the meeting, Disney shared a major update.
We know it’s inconvenient if you’ve booked a Disney World vacation way ahead of time and then you get there to find out your favorite ride is closed.

Sometimes, we do get SOME notice about ride closures in advance, although some rides close temporarily due to technical issues. Refurbishment schedules are also something to consider, and some rides end up having lengthy refurbishments (aka maintenance, touching up, etc.) that could last months. Well, we’ve got an update on one such refurbishment.

We’re getting SO CLOSE to the return of the Disney Dining Plans! In cas you haven’t heard the huge news, they’re officially returning on January 9th, and you can book them NOW as part of your Disney World vacation package.

You pay for the plan upfront and then get a certain number of credits to use at Disney World restaurants and snack stands. While SAG-AFTRA fought for better working conditions and better pay for actors, the movie studios struggled to continue producing movies. Several studios had long lists of projected movies to be released in 2023, but not all of them were able to be finished and released. As most of us know, Disney was affected by the strike in this way as many actors could not start or complete movies this year. The company also struggled with getting viewers to the theaters.
