Are you planning to visit Disney World at the beginning of 2024?
If so, in case you haven’t already heard, you’ll need to know that a fan-favorite Disney’s Hollywood Studios attraction will be closed for refurbishment — tomorrow!
Disney has been focusing a lot of its efforts recently on expanding ESPN.
During Disney’s Q3 2023 financial earnings call, one of the company’s key points was “building ESPN into the preeminent digital sports platform.” The company has already moved forward with ESPN Bet, a new sportsbook betting service. The company is also working on CEO Bob Iger’s #1 priority, streaming, which includes ESPN+. A new deal with the NCAA will help Iger in achieving that goal.
Disney World isn’t just about rides and food (although the latter is VERY important to us).
There are also a lot of fun interactive experiences you can have in the parks! From visiting Kidcot stations in EPCOT to MagicBand+ interacting with things in the parks to DuckTales World Showcase Adventure, there are TONS of OTHER things to do in Disney World. Well, a NEW interactive experience is coming soon, and after chatting with a Cast Member, we’re hoping this experience is getting closer to opening.
The start of the 2024 year is bringing about lots of CHANGES to Disney World and it seems that rides are no exception.
We already knew that Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster is getting ready to close for a longer refurbishment expected to last through Summer, as well as a few other rides. Now, we’ve got another ride to talk about that will also be ready for a refurbishment over the next few days. [Read more…]
Things were very different in Disney World when the parks reopened in 2020.
Although it was almost four years ago, most who visited during that time will never forget having to wear a mask everywhere (both indoors and outdoors), as well as what it was like to stand in line six feet away from the person in front of you (something we kind of miss). There were temperature checks at the gates, too. So, if you’ve been keeping up with the latest news, you might know there’s been an uptick in COVID-19 infections in the U.S. again. So should you be worried about how that could affect Disney World?
Cindy Morgan, an actress who starred in Tron, and Caddyshack, has passed away at the age of 69.
Morgan was known for her roles as Lora Baines and Yori in Disney’s Tron, as well as her role as Lacey Underall in Caddyshack. She also appeared on multiple TV shows in the ’80s and ’90s.
Staying on property in Disney World can be such a magical experience, especially for kids.
However, some people don’t want to be reminded that they’re at Disney everywhere they look in their hotel room. If that’s you, you may decide to stay off-property instead, either at a Good Neighbor Hotel or one of the other hotels near the park. If you’re planning your upcoming trip and are looking at staying off-property, check out this new MASSIVE hotel that’s right next to the resort!
Two Disney World rides will close THIS WEEK for LONG refurbishments! Disney occasionally has to shut down rides and attractions in order to update them, and although sometimes those closures only last a few days, this time two rides will be closed for multiple months.
Let’s check out all the temporary closures and refurbishments that will affect Disney World from January 7th through the 13th.
Ahhh…the holiday season is finally over in Disney World and you have room to breathe again in the parks, right? WRONG.
Despite lower Genie+ prices, Disney World has actually gotten busier after the holidays according to the wait times! We’ve seen some astronomically high wait times this week and park passes have been selling out. Which rides should you watch out for? That’s what we’re going to look at today!
Okay, you might want to be sitting down for this because we’ve got one of the HOTTEST new souvenirs in Disney World to share with you.
Alright, so we know you all love Starbucks merchandise, like the Been There mugs, the Geometric Tumblers, and all the Disney Parks Tumblers. Well, one of the MOST popular Starbucks souvenirs we’ve seen in a while is in Disney World right now, and it is an item that will sell out FAST.
