No, seriously, we’re very passionate about the Muppets, and you’d be surprised at how many times we chat about them when we get the chance. So you can understand that like many other Disney World fans, we’re a little sad to say goodbye to Muppets Courtyard and Muppet*Vision 3D, which will be going away to make way for a new Monsters, Inc. land in Hollywood Studios. But we ARE getting a Muppets-themed version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and let’s just say the DFB team…well, we have ideas about it!

Disney shocked a LOT of fans this past week with the announcement that their new Monsters, Inc. Land would take over Muppets Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Over the past 5+ years, Star Wars has had an interesting run on Disney+. Series like The Mandalorian and Andor have been hailed as some of the best stories to ever be told by the franchise, while others like Book of Boba Fett and The Acolyte have met with a much more… mixed response. Classic characters like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ashoka Tano have been thrust back into the spotlight, while new characters (like Grogu obvi) have taken their place in the franchise’s pantheon. Back in August, Disney announced that Disney California Adventure will be getting a new Avatar expansion as well as a new expansion to Avengers Campus. DisneylandForward was also approved earlier this year, providing more opportunities for experiences, attractions, and more at the resort.
