If you’ve been to Disney World over the past decade, you’ll know how important the My Disney Experience app and website are when it comes to planning your vacation.

Over the years, the app has allowed you to do a LOT of useful things at Disney World. It can act as your park ticket, as well as your hotel room key. It lets you know what ride wait times are. It gives you park hours and other useful information. You can purchase Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane selections. You can even book advance dining reservations through the app. Well, something NEW has come to the website that’s going to make it even easier to use.

Anytime Disney World does something new, it could cause controversy among fans.

There was a lot of outcry when Disney announced it was closing Splash Mountain and re-imagining the ride as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Many folks are still not happy about park pass reservations (the good news is they’re going away soon for most Disney World visitors). Genie+ is always a source of contention. NEWS: SAG-AFTRA Approves Deal to End Hollywood Actor Strike

The entertainment industry has been in chaos for much of 2023.

Not only did the WGA (Writer’s Guild of America) go on strike (although that strike is now over), the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) also went on strike in July and has been on strike ever since. Well, we’ve got some good news: a tentative deal has been approved by the union and the strike is over.

The company recently held its Q4 2023 Earnings Call and released its Earnings Report, and we learned some VERY important details about the financial health of the company. We learned that Disney+ saw a gain in subscribers since the last quarter. We also learned about how Disney Parks are doing financially.
