Disney is pulling out all the stops for the 100th Anniversary celebration!

We’ve seen new merchandise, new shows, and new attractions all in preparation for today, October 16th, the official anniversary of the Walt Disney Company. And we doubt they’re close to stopping. We’ve noticed a lot of similarities between this celebration and the 50th Walt Disney World Anniversary celebration. And now something has reappeared in a new way for this big day.
Our social media feeds lately have been Disney World, Eras Tour, Disneyland, Eras Tour, Disney World, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Cinderella Castle
Hey, we are NOT complaining! If you didn’t already know, the team here at DFB loves Taylor Swift just about as much as we love Disney World. So… that’s how we got an idea. In honor of October 16th marking 100 whole years of the Walt Disney Company, Disney shared some illustrations created by artist Sam Carter that were showcased at the D23 Royal Anniversary Ball at Walt Disney Studios. These illustrations showcase the different “eras” of the Walt Disney Company, and the gears in our brains started turning.
Saying we’ve seen some adorable things in Disney World is an understatement.

Whether it’s a super sweet character interaction, a character costume that makes our hearts melt, or a million other things that make us tear up, we love to see them all. If you’re as big of a fan of baby ducks as we are, then this will absolutely make your day.
September 15th to October 15th was Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, and the Disney Parks marked the celebration in a myriad of ways. From special character sightings to new performances in the parks to brand-new food items, the celebration was certainly a big deal at Disney!

Well, to add to the celebration, Disney announced that Cinderella’s Royal Table was featuring a new menu item: Creamy Plantain Soup. Even though the soup is gone from this restaurant now, you can make this tasty dish at home!
