Disney World has moved on from the 50th anniversary and on to the next celebration. While some decor from the 50th anniversary is still lingering (we’re looking at you, pink castle), Cast Members are making way for the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. We’ve been seeing new merch all around the parks for a while now, but today a major decor addition came to Magic Kingdom!

It’s April, which means spring is here and a lot is happening in the Disney parks. It’s our job to keep you updated on all the latest news when it happens, so let’s recap what’s happened in Magic Kingdom in the past week!
If you want to have the best Disney World vacation possible, the trick is to be prepared! And that process starts months before your trip.

You’ll need to think in advance about where you want to stay and book your hotel quickly before the rooms fill up. You’ll want to make your dining reservations as soon as you hit that 60-day mark so you get the best options. But perhaps most importantly of all — you need to make your Disney Park Passes in advance so you can actually get into the theme parks!
Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration kicked off at the beginning of the year, and the party is still going strong.

Although we’re just starting to see some 100th anniversary things in Disney World, Disneyland is where the party is REALLY happening. There are all kinds of decorations throughout the park celebrating the big event PLUS Sleeping Beauty Castle got a SERIOUS makeover.
Lots of Disney adults have collections of Disney merch like Minnie ears, mugs, or spirit jerseys. Many of them even have Disney-themed bumper stickers on their cars. But we’re pretty sure no one’s taken it to THIS level before.

Well, the 50th anniversary has officially over in Disney World, making way for more 100th anniversary things throughout the resort.

We’ve already seen a lot of 100th anniversary merchandise at Disney World, you can now get popcorn in a 100th anniversary container, and 100th anniversary pressed pennies can be found throughout the parks. Now, though, a resort-specific souvenir has arrived dedicated to 100 years of wonder.
Disney World’s 50th Anniversary may be over, but Disney’s 100th Anniversary is quickly taking its place!

While we were walking around Hollywood Studios today, we noticed some new balloons. When we looked even closer, we noticed that they were new 100th Anniversary balloons!

Wait…how can that be? Well, the 50th Anniversary celebrations were for Disney World specifically, but the 100th Anniversary celebrations are here to honor The Walt Disney Company as a whole! We’ve already seen plenty of Disney100 merchandise in the parks, but now there’s a brand-new item we think you’ll be interested in.
We may be saying goodbye to Disney’s 50th anniversary, but there are tons of 100th-anniversary things to get excited about!

There’s a new nighttime spectacular coming to EPCOT, a Walt Disney statue will be making its way into the parks, and Mickey and Minnie will soon be donning shiny new celebration attire. We’re even seeing new 100th anniversary merchandise coming to the parks every day. But what if you want to take part in the celebration at home? You’re in luck because a fun way to take part in the celebration is coming tomorrow!

We’ve already seen lots of merchandise released online and in the parks, some 100th Anniversary popcorn holders and buckets at Disney World, and tons of 100th decor and more out at Disneyland. For the most part, the celebration has been mainly celebrated at Disneyland Resort, but EPCOT is set to become the “host” of the celebration later this year in Disney World. So what can we expect when it comes to the 100th Anniversary celebrations in Disney World? Well, we just found out!
