Unfortunately, this year’s Food and Wine was cut short with the unprecedented closure of the Disney theme parks around the world. Though the Disneyland parks remain closed, Downtown Disney HAS reopened and we were surprised to spot some Food and Wine merch! Check it out!

On March 27th, it was announced that Disneyland Resort (along with Walt Disney World Resort) will extend its temporary closure period to promote the safety of guests and cast members in response to the current global situation.
2020 Food and Wine Festival
Originally, the Resorts were announced to be closed through the end of March. However, with the closures being extended “until further notice,” the plans of even more guests are being impacted.
As we’ve been covering what Disneyland guests can expect with regards to refunds for affected trips and events, we also want to direct guests’ attention to the policy regarding separately ticketed Special Events for the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival (which, as a reminder, began on February 28th and was slated to run through April 21st). We’ve been wondering how the current closures in Disneyland could affect the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. It’s set to end on April 21st and that’s coming up soon! If closures get extended, there won’t be any chance to chow down again at all this year!
2020 Festival Passport
Well, we were keeping an eye out for any new building permits coming to Disneyland when we spotted an extension to a permit for the Food and Wine booths! This extends the original end date on the permit to a new end date in September! Does this mean that the festival will be getting extended? Maybe! Here’s what we know!

If you’ve been in Disneyland recently, you may know that the Food & Wine Festival is in full swing in Disney California Adventure (with some of the cutest food booths we’ve ever seen)!

But, this year, Downtown Disney is joining in on the eats and treats (and we are SO excited about it!!).
