Disney World’s 50th anniversary kicked off on Friday, October 1st, and we were in the parks to take in all of the celebrations.

We tried a ton of new food items, saw new entertainment, checked out a new ride, and more! The day was exciting and historic, marking a huge milestone for Disney World — but that doesn’t mean it didn’t have its issues. We noticed some not-so-magical things happening on the 50th anniversary, and we’re here to share our experience and what could be done to fix or avoid these issues in the future.

Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration is off to an exciting start, with 150 new food and drink items around the parks and resorts, well over a hundred new merchandise items, not to mention new fireworks shows in both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, a new daytime show in Disney’s Animal Kingdom…needless to say, there’s a lot of NEW stuff happening!

Disney World has launched 150 new food and drink items around the resort in celebration of its 50th Anniversary, which is now in full swing!

The day is finally here — you get to see two new fireworks shows, a new character cavalcade, ride a new attraction, and, of course, EAT ALL THE FOOD! Disney has SO many special food items for the big celebration, but we’re not complaining, because we’re trying it all to find out what’s the best.
