There’s just something special about meeting your favorite character in Disney World.

And of course it’s super special to meet Mickey (and hug him!), the mouse who started it all. Mickey meets guests in all four parks in Disney World, and now Minnie has joined him at his meeting spot in Magic Kingdom!

The answer is no (at least, for us it is!), and it’s a good thing, because Disney has been making some awesome Mickey merchandise lately. Especially with Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration, we’ve seen everything from vintage Mickey to glamorous Mickey. In honor of the big birthday, Disney World has also been releasing a Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction series with collections themed to different rides around Magic Kingdom. And the latest limited-edition collection is now available in Disney World!

We’ve seen things like Starbucks cups, spirit jerseys, Dooney & Bourke collections, and, of course, Minnie ears! We’ve even seen a pair of Crocs that looks like a vintage Magic Kingdom park map, and now we’ve spotted another pair of 50th Anniversary Crocs in the Magic Kingdom!
Crocs are a pretty controversial shoe — many people either love or hate them!

Disney seems to love them, since they’ve done a TON of collaborations with the brand. We’ve seen fun 50th Anniversary Crocs, food-inspired Mickey Crocs, Halloween Crocs, and holiday Crocs, among many others. And, there are some NEW Crocs over on shopDisney that you can get right now (if you’re a fan!).

We love Mickey balloons
Even if you don’t normally buy balloons in Disney World, the sight of them when you step onto Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom makes you smile doesn’t it? Mickey balloons are so popular that they’ve even been on several pairs of ears, but we just found a pair of Mickey Balloon Ears that might have you screaming “Take our money, please!”
Well, we didn’t expect to find a devil on our treat in Disney World, but here we are.
The Friar’s Nook
Friar’s Nook at Magic Kingdom has a few menu items right now that nod to a throwback ride — Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. This attraction has been closed at Disney World for more than 20 years, but the Nook is honoring its legacy as part of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. You can get a Wild Toad Brat Burger here, or try the Wild Ride slushy. There used to be a Mr. Toad’s Dome Cake here as well, but now it’s been REPLACED by something a little more sinister.
We are several months into the largest celebration Disney World has ever seen, and it’s not slowing down any time soon!

Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration lasts for 18 months and although we’re only partway through, we’ve seen original 50th Anniversary snacks get replaced with other newer 50th Anniversary snacks and new merchandise like you wouldn’t believe. We’re on the lookout for new finds, and recently, we found one of our favorite Disney birds on a piece of 50th Anniversary merch in Magic Kingdom!
Disney Starbucks tumblers are MAJORLY popular souvenirs, and there have been some really fun ones released for Disney World’s 50th anniversary!

We’ve seen the blue geometric Starbucks Tumbler come in and out of stock both in Disney World and online, as well as a pink geometric tumbler that sold out FAST. But if you had your heart set on the pink tumbler, you’re in luck — but you better HURRY!!
It might sound weird, but an iconic part of staying in a Disney World hotel is the TOILETRIES!
