We’re back at Disney World’s OG park!
We’ve spent the past few days making a number of visits to Magic Kingdom and we’ve certainly had a blast. Now, we’re checking in with some of the latest updates in food, construction, and merchandise!
If we could time travel, we’d probably just move forward a few months so we can see all the 50th anniversary festivities in Disney World. (Oh, and to eat a bunch of crepes and ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, of course!)
Disney World will be decorating its park icons to match with the “EARidescent” color scheme that will glimmer across the property. Cinderella Castle has already started its big transformation with a nod to Mary Blair’s designs. Imagineers have been hard at work to craft the ribbons and bows that are already appearing on Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom right now!
We’re getting excited for Disney World’s 50th anniversary!
The celebration will begin October 1st, 2021 (that’s Disney World’s 50th birthday!), and will be a whopping 18 months long. Mickey and Minnie are gonna rock brand-new costumes, and each of the 4 park icons will receive a mini-transformation. And believe it or not, we’ve already seen some progress on the Cinderella Castle makeover in Magic Kingdom! Plus, we’ve gotten a behind-the-scenes peek at what the final result will look like.
Preparations are well underway for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, which start this year on October 1st.
We’ve already seen 50th anniversary decor added to Cinderella Castle, and we’ve gotten a peek at how the other park icons will look in celebration of the 50th. Well, if you’re planning to visit Disney World for the start of the 50th Anniversary celebrations, one thing you’ll want to book QUICKLY are your Park Pass reservations, as more Park Passes around that time have started to fill up!
