We love experiencing after-hours events in the Disney World parks, but H2O Glow After Hours nights can’t be forgotten about! This year, this special event is taking place on select nights in Typhoon Lagoon from May 25th-August 31st, 2024. How much is there to experience at one water park though? We’re here to show it ALL to you!
The availability of one of our favorite Disney wait time tricks is dwindling for the year.
After Hours at EPCOT
Waiting in long lines is as much a part of the Disney World experience as photos by Cinderella Castle and meeting Mickey Mouse. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to mitigate the wait. For example, Disney After Hours events used to be a great way to experience some of the resort’s best attractions with much shorter lines. Unfortunately, we’re running out of events for 2024…
With the cost of Genie+ rising, massive crowds during certain times of the year, and staving off the heat on top of all of that during the summer months — it’s easy to see why so many people would opt to do an after-hours event at Disney World instead.
H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon

Three words: After Hours events! Disneyland announced an entire lineup of Disneyland After Dark events for 2024, and we’ve already seen a few come and go like the brand new Disney Channel Nite! Did you know about this EXCLUSIVE Disney World hotel perk?
Wilderness Lodge
If you’re staying at any Disney World hotel, you get Early Theme Park Entry, which means you can go inside any of the four theme parks a half hour before other guests. But if you’re staying at one of the qualifying hotels on property, you ALSO get Extended Evening Hours, so you get to stay LATE in select parks on certain days. EPCOT After Hours are BACK for 2024!
It comes at a pretty high price tag, but many guests feel the experience is well worth the cost. If you’re planning to experience one of these events this year, you need to know that these dates are SOLD OUT!
Disney World brought its After Hours events back to the parks for 2024.
Tower of Terror
These events are taking place in three of the four parks — Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. At the After Hours events you can have extra time to ride all the rides without the extra crowds and wait times. They also offer complimentary treats like Mickey ice cream bars, popcorn, and soda. Up until recently, the events this year haven’t been overly popular (which helps keep the wait times down), but now we noticed that a couple of nights have sold out a one of the parks!
The Disneyland events calendar is pretty darn stacked for 2024!
Disney Channel Nite!
And, we got to experience a brand-new one for the very first time recently. That’s right — Disney Channel Nite is officially here! The new After Hours event promises a ton of music, memorable characters, high-energy parties, unique photo opportunities, and more, and right now, we’re checking out the characters!
